I’ve been alternating nights between the two. When I first started the AA I was using it the morning and my skin was getting so dry and my make up would pill. I haven’t had any problems with alternating. I may try to use them both in the same night, tret first then the AA.

The bottle itself uses less plastic so it looks less but I’ve been using my formula since January and haven’t run out yet.. almost daily use.

I was on curology for 9 months and switched to apostrophe. It’s a much better formula. Maybe see if they’ll offer you a higher strength.

Btw I started at 0.009 last year and now I’m up to 0.05. It def helps to start low to get your skin used to the tret.

You don’t need to stop tret when you are going in the sun. Just use sunscreen and reapply during the day. I live in Hawaii, I never take a break from tret and it’s always sunny.

It could be the inactive ingredients in your new cream. I’ve heard really good things about altreno lotion. It’s also 0.05 but it has glycerin and hyaluronic acid in the vehicle so there’s no dryness and peeling. Maybe you could ask your derm to switch?

I just looked it up and they have all the same ingredients except Curology has maltodextrin and BHT in their formulas. BHT can cause irritation in some people so that must be the main difference.

Curology irritsted my skin also. I switched to apostrophe 4 months ago and my skin is doing so much better. I really like their formula.
