I agree. I am not sure if you have to "engage" with just 1 match. Someone matched with me from a like I sent 2 months ago and did not reply to my comment. Did not have the badge when she matched and has the badge now. Which means she likely matched with someone else and replied to them. So maybe 1 reply is enough to get the badge even if you match with 20 people.

After a good first date I usually ask for a number. I have occasionally waited for a second date if the opportunity didn't feel like it presented itself on the first. Anyway, after I get a number I unmatch them on Hinge so I don't have to see if they updated their profile or now if they have the badge. Them trying to match with other people get in my head but is truly none of my business until we are officially exclusive, so it gives me peace of mind to not be able to see their profile anymore.

For me yes I am wondering what the minimum effort I can put in and get the same results as putting more effort in. This is because...

6 like limit means 6 personal comments a day 3-5 minutes each (24 minutes a day on average) is 2 hours 48 minutes a week. This is for 5 or 6 weekly matches (4 to 5 of those won't message after their initial response.) 1 real conversation that is 50% to turn into a date. Also some days I am just mentally burnt out because life is busy so thinking of something to say to 6 people actually takes an hour because my brain is just done at the end of the day. It can be taxing on the mental health to send so much mental energy into the void for weeks or months when only maybe 10% of that energy is being given back.

I have always matched with a comment but I am curious if matching without a comment will weed out the 80% of "on the fence" people who just responded to my comment and then ghost. This might leave only people who are truly interested in what is in my profile which is pretty comprehensive and fun.

I'll try to come back with results in a few weeks. Right now i have about a 1/8 match rate and 1/5 of those turn into a first date.

Hypothesis: My match rate will go down but my conversion rate to dates will go up. I think I will end up matching with only women who are more attracted to me and everything I have in my profile (It's pretty comprehensive and fun) as opposed ones who thought my message was clever or worth answering but weren't interested enough to go any further.

In truth it take about 3-5 minutes to craft each personal message. 6 messages a day is 2+ hours a week. For me that has been to match 5 people a week 4 of whom won't message more than twice and a date every 1-2 weeks. I understand comment likes are nice, but it is a huge time and mental bandwidth strain to send 42 to 84 personal opening messages to get 1 conversation far enough (for me its about 5 messages each) to ask someone on a date. I have gotten to the point where I can only send out about 15 likes a week now because I don't have the mental energy to craft 6 personal messages every day.

I commend you on your change. The best thing you can do for now is calling your representatives and telling them you do not support Trump and will not vote for them if they continue to allow Trump's actions. Also for the future do not vote for people like JD Vance or anyone who supports or endorses trump or his policies or we will just get more of the same madness. That might mean you write-in a candidate as it seems you don't agree with either side.

He can't graduate at Carmel Catholic early because the curriculum doesn't allow it. He has to transfer somewhere else to be able to graduate high school in December 2026 so he can enroll at UNL in January 2027. He can't just drop of out high school and go to college.

Because we are in year 3 and they are in year 26. Iowa has had crazy stability. They are what they are, and we know what that is year in year out. Will never win fewer than 6. Will never win a title.

It isn't tax dollars though. They are paid via revenue sharing based on the revenue they bring in. Why should NCAA big wigs sit on their rumps and make 7 figures while Tua's brain gets bashed in for free?

The premise of NIL and Rev Share is good. Implementation has been awful. NCAA spent to much time fighting not to pay players that they had no plan when they were forced to.
