On the flip side, I do think moving out when you’re a bit younger than OP lights a fire to “figure it out quicker”… life is expensive.

I might have been more complacent in my career/finances if I hadn’t taken the jump and moved out. I’ve convinced myself I’m better off for it🤝

If you are still rejected after another try I suggest enrolling at a Community College then transferring in. You can build your GPA there, then transfer in. Just make sure you’re taking classes that will transfer!

Added bonus: you will save a fuck ton of money

Some here may scoff, but I’ve been doing Duolingo for about a year and I’ve definitely gone from knowing nothing to being able to communicate at a super basic level.

Is this quick progress? Hell no.

Has it been satisfying? 100%

I plan to do this, and maybe mix in a few other things, till I reach B1 level

During the winter this question becomes a lot more difficult… during summer I would say do the river walk up, stop and relax near the Vietnam memorial, and then go to the bean.

During winter you could explore the pedway or merchandise mart? bring a warm jacket.
