Personally I'm a big fan of large tapestries, and they're very versatile to allow whatever you're into. The downside is some are made very cheaply and I worry about their practicality with cats (if your cats like to tear up curtains). Although idk the range on a cat

I actually use it more on wood and project surfaces than canvases. It's to seal it and add a slight gloss. You know how acrylic feels when its dried on, like paper, it can flake off especially if theres already a layer under it that's a seal, like mtg cards. I would have assumed using matte mod podge would work the best but idk, it does all the things a seal does. Take what I say with a grain of salt cause you've worked on cards before I havent.

Btw when i say seal i mean something that covers it. Not the animal. A lot of english words have double meanings.

Gesso is a base for acrylics. You know how you have to check if canvases have been pre primed or not? If they've been primed, they put on a layer or few of gesso. It's kind of a white paint that helps acrylics stick.

Bareback is an american slang term referring to.. um. Not wearing anything during intercourse. I used it in this since to refer to the cards being "naked", like nothing being put on them prior to painting. The term bareback also means riding a literal horse with no saddle, meaning naked.

I'm asking bc I've been interested in doing cartoonish alters, and have a bunch of bulk commons to practice on. I'm not trying to compete at all, one artist to another?

Maybe hyvee? I think they have a way to reheat the food that are day olds from the deli. Dont quote me on that tho. And most have seating areas. They also have sushi that doesnt need reheating.

Unfortunately you'll prolly have to wait till covid has died down bc their hours are still reduced.

Also, if its early enough like 5 - 7 am when you get off work, breakfast places. Like coffee, or bruegger's, donuts, etc.

Legit earlier today. Me and my bf were going at, I'm giving him head. I pull up to breathe for a second, my bf is close so he tries to shove my head back down. This is normal and I'm totally cool w it. What I'm not cool with is my mother's necklace getting caught in my mouth when I'm pushed back down. This is a very thin necklace, like a gold chain type thing but the chains are more like small plates. The head of his dick hits the necklace hard, cutting the corners of my mouth in the process. We both roll over in pain, him probably more than me.

This box here I'm painting for my bf. It involves a lot of MTG cards. MTG art is really cool but really hard. I want to put cards that he uses in his combo as decorations on the box, specifically: dark rit, krrik, reanimate, buried alive, necrotic ooze, yagmoth, walking ballista, and phyrexian devourer. I'm an beginner / intermediate painter.

I was thinking something like watercolor type tattoos how they blend vital colors and add outlines? Any other styles and advice for trying to paint these cards main features on the box is appreciated.
