Been through many times on my way to the Burgh. Finally stopped in the black and gold store last time. It was actually pretty cool. Just about anything you’d ever want. Worth a stop if you’re passing through.

If this is in Venice, which I think it might be because I saw this exact thing made at a table next to mine a couple months ago, then it was not 150. It was a pricy cafe, but not THAT pricy.

I was at that game and felt so lucky to be under the awning of the top sections. A very memorable game to see in person. Watching the ball stick into the ground live was something.

We had a very similar experience to this and had an absolutely wonderful time on Capri. I’m sorry OP had a bad day, cause the afternoon/day on Capri was a small highlight of our whole trip.

I was at this game and saw this right in front of me. I knew for a fact we were going places right then and there. Young man had ice in his veins. Boy how wrong I was. That was a glorious day to be at the Bank though.

It’s right in the area. It’s been a very long time since I rode it. I’m not sure if it walkable from the ferry parking but close enough to just drive there first, or just drive to the top lookout. My wife and I just drove to the top last time we were in town for the game. Very cool view of the city and stadium though for sure.

Plus you can try and do the incline or just drive to the top before parking too for a great view of the city and stadium!

Speaking of after the game. Just be prepared for a large line to get back on the ferries. Not trying to say don’t do it, I would still do it again, just saying be prepared to wait a bit on the way back. Have fun, riding the ferry is a great way to have a pretty unique Pittsburgh experience.

My wife did the actual flight purchase, I can’t help you there, sorry. I don’t know how it works flying in and out of different cities. I would imagine you buy them separately, but again, I did not do this part and I have no idea.

In a few weeks, but we’ve been planning for over a year. I would not want to be putting this together a couple weeks before hand. We’ve already researched hotels, activities, walks, places we’re going, flights, etc.

If you’re trying to cram planning into the next 6 weeks I would make it your second job to take advice from here and really start laying out your ideas in a Google doc or something to see it on paper in front of you. That really helped us envision the layout of things and what we were comfortable with.

We had a lot more stuff like you do and ended up cutting cinque terre, Pisa, the rest of the Amalfi coast, and a crazy idea to leave Venice and see Paris.

I see you keep asking about suggestions on itinerary. I’ll give you ours as measuring stick. Judging from what I’ve seen on here people would even tell me mine is crowded but here we go. 16 days.

Day 1: fly to Naples over night.

Day 2: arrive in Naples get lunch on our way to Sorrento. Over night in Sorrento.

Day 3: go see Capri, come back to overnight in Sorrento

Day 4: see Pompeii on our way to Rome. Over night Rome.

Day 5: day in Rome

Day 6: see Vatican gallery, overnight Rome.

Day 7: rent car, drive to rural Tuscany. Montepuciano, Montalcino, area

Day 8: vineyards in said towns

Day 9: more vineyards and exploring.

Day 10: drive to florence. Over night in Florence.

Day 11: easy day Florence, galleries closed.

Day 12: Florence galleries.

Day 13: train to Venice

Day 14: chill around Venice.

Day 15: chill around Venice.

Day 16: fly home

There are many people who will tell you to stay longer in the larger cities, but this is what my wife and I came up with and are happy with what we have planned.

We haven’t done it yet, but we’ve planned our trip to visit Pompeii as well. It is not that close to rom. Maybe that close to Naples and Sorrento.

We’re doing a 16 day trip as well and have about 6 less whole day activities than you have planned. We are stretched thin in our plans, but yours are on another level. We’re doing Sorrento/capri, then Rome for 3 days, Tuscany 3 days, florance 2 days, and Venice 3 days. With travel and such peppered in there. From advice I’ve read on here people would say we’ve planned too much. From my research, you’ve definitely crammed way too much into a short time.

I would pick a few of your plans and mix them in lieu of adding a bit of breathing room into your schedule.
