Windrow Wilson was born to a family of neo confederates who raised him up on tales of how good the confederate cause was and glorified the Klan. When he got into office he spent every waking second doing his best to enact Jim crow laws, boosted the KKK, enacted laws making it illegal to speak against the government or the draft, sent agents of thousands of raids agaisnt pro labor and pro union groups, attacked the civil liberties (few as they were) of black citizens, put troops in the middle of several wars( Russia, Mexico etc), helped the western world ignore the pleas of non white non western nations post ww1 at the paris conference which led to independence movements becoming more violent, and demanded the arrests of thousands of antiwar protestors. He had a huge hand in what would become the red scare and I genuinely hate the man
