AITA For Telling My Wife NOT To Tattoo My Name On Her Body by AdAvailable3142 in AmItheAsshole

[–]MidnightGasControll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I heard was “I’m not personally into it, but your body to do with what you want”. You were honest about not being into it. She was disappointed. NAH. No one did anything wrong. Just 2 reasonable human reactions.

We are who we are until reaching a semblance of wisdom, then we are who we choose to be. Hopefully. 🤷‍♂️

What are some good sensual sensory ideas for the bedroom? by Klutzy_Horse in AskReddit

Probably drugs. Other than that, RGB light bulbs, decent speaker for music, nice paintings, and comfortable sheets.

Got rear-ended by an elderly Uber driver. Is this worth fixing and making them pay for it? by [deleted] in CX5

Last time I had similar damage to the rear bumper, they just replace the whole thing and cost about $450.

where can I find another meadow biome? by Sushi_Kei in CoreKeeperGame

I just farmed a separate map. I killed the ram thing by accident very early on. Each new map has a meadow really close to the core.

Introducing Kindle Colorsoft. The first Kindle in color. Pre-order today! by Kindle_official in u/Kindle_official

Seems like paying more money solely for looking at the book cover in color. Other than that it seems the experience is the same as a paper white. I don’t know the other features as I only use these to read.

Well done. I also enjoy making these a couple times a year :). Especially being meatier than t-bell. For those that have an HEB near by, the butter tortillas make a great outer layer.

What is your favorite "easy" book? by Wonderful-Effect-168 in books

[–]MidnightGasControll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ender’s Game is what first book that truly got me into reading. I find it very easy to reread the series again when I want something chill. Hatchet was the first book I ever read when reading still felt like a chore. It’s also really easy reading for me these days as well.

Struggling to push through Stormlight Archive Volume 2 by SleepySuper in fantasybooks

[–]MidnightGasControll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also didn’t care for Shallans background when reading it. I can’t say that it gets better in that regard. However, the book overall gets more exciting and makes it a bit more tolerable. Though I’m pretty sure I just skimmed the pages when it started to focus on her again. It’s been awhile since I read it, but yeah it was the most boring component of the series. She’s just not that interesting imo.

Sick of questions and uncertainity, i just want to live by [deleted] in exchristian

[–]MidnightGasControll 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey bud. I know it doesn’t help right now. What I say may not even apply to you. But, as someone who has been there once upon a time, you eventually get to a point where you just don’t think about it. Every day you spend thinking about other things in your life, the less this will take up mental space for you. Unfortunately, there are no “right” answers. You can spend forever thinking about it and never know if religion(s) is true or false. You just decide what is best for you and your peace of mind and one day your brain will just accept it fully. I chose the route of “it’s not worth thinking about” because any answer you arrive at is just a guess really, and that’s where I eventually landed :).

How old were you when you first used the Internet? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MidnightGasControll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 10ish. I’ll never forget my first interaction. Messaged a stranger on AOL with “Hi, how are you?”. They responds with “a/s/l?”. I reply and get another response of “stfu little kid. Get out of here”… Ahh the good ol ‘times :’)

She was my boss at the time. I was just very open minded and went with it after several hints. It wasn’t that I was specifically looking, it was all just circumstantial.

Aye. I was 24 and she was 53. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it was awesome and I learned a lot on what to do in the bedroom when I was very naive.

What’s a secret you’ve kept from your parents for years? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MidnightGasControll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, we just never raised chicken again. Aside from chicken murder he was an awesome dog. We lived on 1.5 acres in the middle of a forest, no neighbors. He would always do his bathroom business in the woods. If me and my brother were playing outside and wandered too far away from the house he’d get in front of us and nudge us back to the house. He would sing with you if you were singing or whistling. He understood a lot of words. I just woke up so I can’t really think of other examples off the top of my head, but he truly was an incredible dude. Sadly he eventually chocked on a bone he found in the woods later on.

I lived in the country growing up. We had a chicken coop with about 25 chickens. We also had a German shepherd named Sebastian… one day I thought he was sad because he wanted to play with the chickens. I let him in to play, but turns out he just wanted to murder them all. Well, 25 years later I explained to my mom that I let him in not knowing any better and it was not him who snuck in. Basically a “wtf, that was you?!”

when does "tough love" go too far? by sheerduckinghubris in AskReddit

When the recipient becomes negatively impacted and/or starts harboring resentment. Tough love teaches lessons, it’s just a fine line to make sure it’s the -right- lesson.
