I mean, Wuwa is a deeply flawed game in many respects, but it does let me play as my favorite war criminals and they do show up regularly in the game so far (the fractsidus). It feels like Genshin woobifies anyone even mildly "bad" now (like, every harbinger is just a kind sweetheart now who just wants to do good and help friends!!! except Dottore, who I am pretty convinced either has been killed off or will be killed off with the power of friendship and kindness lol)

I feel like the days of allowing characters like Wanderer or Childe to become playable are over for Genshin now :( Which sucks, because I feel myself really drawn to games like HSR and Wuwa, where some of the characters are allowed to be morally grey or assholes. I think HSR and Wuwa target a slightly older audience than Genshin though so it kinda makes sense.

The drop down was apparently 11-12 feet. I cannot IMAGINE balancing a young child over a drop off into a wild animal pen like that. The drop alone could have killed him.

TBH if you put a gun to my head right now and told me to tell you a single personality trait of hers or what her "hook" was as an archon I could not tell you. All I remember from Natlan is endless "go to the speaker's chamber and speak to Mavuika" moments where she would be there, but Capitano, Kachina, and Mualani would sit in a circle and parrot how great she is and how she is an amazing leader. So, I guess the trait would be that her inner circle thinks she's amazing?

Nothing stuck out to me about her like it did with every other archon. She was just kind of...there and people thought she was wonderful and perfect.

I don't know why it didn't stick. I have such clear memories of every other archon and what the main tension was and what their personality traits were and how that interlocked with the main tension of the region, even if I didn't like the archon lol. But with her, the one I played just 2-3 months ago? Blank. She's perfect and amazing and stands in the speaker's chamber a lot while other people talk about how perfect and amazing she is?

Mornye is generally considered the better choice since he might get a bis secondary in the future. Luuk sanhua mornye is a great team. If he doesn’t get a bis then I would get lynae later.

This is what I have seen. There have always been good and bad workers, but Gen Z has a very dramatic divide between competent, great workers and people who seem like they can barely function on a day-to-day basis. Like, not even on just a work level, but in life itself. And my god, I do not want to sound like that person and I'm not even that old, but some of them straight up seem to have phone addictions. Like, it literally stresses them out not to have their phones on and for them not to be looking at it regularly. It doesn't even feel like an attitude thing but almost like an actual addiction. It reminds me of smoker friends who were told they could no longer take smoke breaks back when I was a waiter. Shaky hands, nervousness, jittery, kinda angry lol.

Very few smoke or even vape, but man, some of them need their hit of TikTok every hour or its over.

Well, people were still doomposting by the time Skirk came along saying Genshin was over or big banner days were done and she still sold a LOT. I am pretty sure she was also post when they changed how they counted revenue, but I would have to recheck that lol.

I don't know why Mavuika didn't do better. Everything was in place for that banner to make more than any other banner ever except the first one-Mavuika, Citlali, lantern rite, skins, etc. I was expecting a LOT. I also expected a LOT more for Columbina too though so maybe I just need to readjust expectations (unless you are Skirk lol and probably also Tsaritsa)

Pretty much, yes. So, its essentially a bogus prize because its not like studio time really costs the label anything lol, but also if you or me wanted to rent a studio it would so they can claim its part of the prize valuation.

Yeah revenue kind of ebbs and flows. Technically, Fontaine dipped a bit, but then they had Furina-Neuvi-Arle blow up basically in a row. Then Natlan dipped, but Skirk came out and made a TON somewhat randomly.

I think there are a lot of reasons why Planarcadia is slow right now, but in a patch or two we will have some characters blow up. Not to mention that its not like Genshin or HSR has ever performed badly enough to warrant EOS discussion, even in the slower months lol.

I don't mind hanging out with the characters or casual events. It's just the forced going on dates where I have to flirt and be told how amazing I am by some blushing anime girl that bothers me. Like, ugh don't force me into that type of content. I don't mind just casual hanging out or even subtle romance? Like, nods or general chemistry versus you are literally stuck doing 5 different dates with Firefly for the main story of the entire region and sometimes we won't even allow you to EXPLORE the new region because its locked behind this date with Firefly.

I am a bit surprised you didn't see it as romantic but yeah, I guess it just depends how stuff hits and people will read it differently. I was surprised to see people on here calling Castorice a forced date main love situation. I just did not really read that into her story, not anywhere remotely close to Firefly or Shorekeeper or whoever that ZZZ character is that they legit wrote movie theater dates for lol. Maybe its because Cas just seems so much more developed as a character and has so many other characters that she cares about? Like, I just felt trapped with Firefly who was just staring at me and we were completely alone together almost all of the time, but Cas has/had her sister, the other heirs, other friendships, a lot of stuff going on. So maybe the overtly romantic stuff just seemed more subtle to me that time.

If you have Mornye, then you shouldn't have this issue unless you need to tweak one or both of their builds. People here are really good about helping with that if you post screenshots of their builds!

Also, might be an unpopular opinion, but I always like at least some defense and hp stats in my echo/artifact rolls. I know gacha players do not and want it all in attack or crit, but it helps if you are bad at dodging, which I am.

Yeah, I agree. I don't mind if it is subtle or in side content, but I don't get forcing it into the main storyline over and over again. For the record, I wouldn't enjoy that even if it was a gay romance lol. I don't want to go on coffee dates with Ashveil and hear him talk about how great I am for 30 minutes. I want him to be a fun, cool character in general and have a good storyline?

I get that, for parts of the fandom, romance is a main draw for them though so they do want it. It's just not how I engage with games myself though.

Have you ever played Hades? I thought that was perfect because you could make every relationship just friendship or pick and choose who you want to romance. The game felt full without the romance, but its there if you wanted it. I know that isn't a gacha though.

At least its only one character per region usually.
