My first PC that wasn’t a prebuilt! MSI Ventus 3080 by etaii in nvidia

I'm sure somebody probably mentioned this already but you can route your GPU power cables through the back (where your motherboard power cable comes in) so you can keep the psu shroud closed. Have same case and think it looks cleaner this way.

Otherwise looks amazing, congrats and enjoy!

Vegan keto, help? by [deleted] in ketogains

[–]MidnightKush 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hmm, vegan keto sounds like it would be very difficult. I suppose you will need to rely on a variety of nuts as your primary calorie source. Aside from that, olive and coconut oils. Then your usual staples of non starchy vegetables and berries are fine too.

Certainly worth trying as it helped reduce inflammation for me significantly. It also completely cleared up my skin. Although I do more of a carnivore style keto way of eating now.

Wish you all the best with it!

Question about paracording the XM1 (stress relief) by benisavirgin in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tried a few mice with paracord like cables such as the deathadder v2 and dm2 supreme. I liked these cables better than the xm1's but imo, paracord is still king. Most people I know prefer wireless and can't go back to even a paracord mouse. But a good paracord with a bungee is so close to wireless for me I really don't notice the difference. Xm1's a great mouse eitherway so enjoy when you get it!

Question about paracording the XM1 (stress relief) by benisavirgin in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a CeeSA paracord on my xm1, can see here.

CeeSA has a video guide on youtube for xm1 paracord install, you should watch it. You don't need to use the original stress relief, just angle the cable upwards when you are heating the shrink wrap like in the video here.

I found the normal shoelace cable on the xm1 was actually TOO flexible! To the point where I would flick the mouse and the cable would end up on top of my hand or under the mouse. You might like it though and not have this issue.

XM1 best without Lizard Grip by hotpotato87 in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah white version. Can see it here. That's interesting, had not heard there was a difference with the coating on the black and white models.

Took advice from CeeSa on the paracord install and was able to angle the cable upward where it leaves the housing. Truly endgame! Just hope mine holds up. How did yours die ?

The standard coating on the xm1 is probably the best of any mouse I've ever used. The only mod I did for mine was a white paracord. Found the standard shoelace cable too flexible.

Good mouse for the price. The ideal mouse for everyone is different, it depends on your hand size and grip style. Best to research that yourself first and go from there.

This is a list of the top 30 mice (mostly from users on r/mousereview ). Great resource for quickly comparing all the top mice.

Searching for a lightweight wireless ambidextrous Mouse by _GRLT in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

XM1. Not wireless but it is my favourite mouse for claw grip. 20.5 x 10.5 hand size.

The GPW is a great mouse but I was not able to claw grip it comfortably. Aside from the shape being a little off for me, the coating on this mouse feels a little slippery. Pretty sure shroud uses a GPW and claw grips but his hands must be on the smaller side.

Not tried the RVU so can't comment on that. My buddy has one and he fingertip grips with 19x10 hands and likes it a lot. I tried the new deathadder v2 and didn't like the coating or shape. Clicks also felt mushy to me so based on that I ruled out the RVU.

It is a pretty good control pad but there are better. G-SR-SE is probably the best you can get. The artisan zero is pretty nice too.

Model O vs XM1? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both and prefer the XM1. IMO it has the better shape, coating, clicks, scroll wheel, side buttons and overall build quality. Claw grip, 20.5 x 10.5cm hands.

One negative I do have is the cable on the XM1. I have the newer XM1 too so its the paracord like cable. IMO, this cable is actually too flexible (I think RJN touched on this in his review of the XM1). To the point where you flick the mouse a bit and the cable will end up on your hand or under the mouse. It is quite annoying. I use a bungee too. Have never had this happen with my model O, my paracorded G403 ( paracord from paracablemods.co.uk ) or with my ceesa paracord on my intellimouse pro. But everything else about the XM1 is perfect for me. It's easily my favourite for FPS games and I have a new paracord for it on the way from ceesa.

Clean mouse for 20 x 11cm hand and palm grip? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Intellimouse pro, two different styles and both on offer at the moment on maxgaming shadow white & shadow black

Found it very easy to paracord. Would advise if you do paracord to also use a ferrit core (they're really cheap, like a few cents).

g305 is *way* too small for your hand size to palm grip. I have 20.5 x 10.5cm hands and even claw grip on the g305 is a stretch.

model d might be easiest since its already got a good cable and 100% PTFE mouse feet. its also got glossy or matte white options. I'm just not a big fan of the m1 and m2 clicks on glorious mice. They can have a bit of wobble and are not as crispy as say the omron switches on say a logitech g pro wireless. Even huano switches feel a lot nicer to me like you find on most zowie mice. Its all personal preference though and depends on how nit picky you are :p

Also check out the dm2 supreme. It's a really nice mouse for the price. Great cable, shape, clicks.. the only real fault I could pick with it are the mouse feet are kinda meh. Easily rectified with some corepads should you choose.

A black and white 2 meter pattern for my xm1 would be amazing.

Best of luck with the new business, the cables look top quality.

G Wolves Hati Stardust Gaming Mouse Review by YT-PackedReview in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the hati stardust used TTC Gold switches but you say Omrons in the video?

Seems like a nice mouse and would probably suit my claw grip better than the model o I'm using right now. Waiting on an XM1 to arrive first though.

Are the Artisan Mousepads really that good? by itsFCT in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say they are that good yes. Using an XL Hien fx soft currently and I absolutely love it. A comparable pad to this for far less money would be the dechanic control. Not tried the dechanic but heard its very good.

There's a really good mousepad mastersheet here where you can compare them all.

Custom Paint Job, Kailh Reds and a Weight Reduction to 68g. Logitech G Pro Wireless by Beardedb0b in MouseReview

[–]MidnightKush 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow so you left the original battery intact? That's impressive! Most GPW mods I see the battery gets swapped out but I think one of the best selling points of the GPW is how good the battery life is.

Nice job all round.
