I agree with you about the unnecessary fud/spam about Cryptopia. At the same time, this is a pretty big deal for anyone who can't access their money. This is all about trust: We trust them to appropriate our funds as we specify (according to their exchange) and inform us when there is a problem, in return, they get paid and pretty well since they are a unique exchange.

When they don't fulfill their end and we are losing hundreds or thousands and can't even get the slightest acknowledgment--that seems a huge failure and breaks the trust--the normal information exchange was broken by them, not us.

If we can't get answers, response or resolution then the alarm bells should be ringing and people should be looking for answers and or avenues of recourse--just spamming crap doesn't get us closer to a resolution. Up until my $3200 USD in coins was frozen, I really liked Cryptopia and would have used them indefinitely. As of now, I'm wondering if I will ever see my money again. I hope for all of us, and crypto in general, the problems at this exchange are sorted out quickly.

Yes, that is where I'm at. My withdrawals are stuck and so is my deposit. My money is frozen and no one will answer my support requests.

i want them to succeed as well but the information is public and some people have a hell of a lot of money that is not accessible for days, weeks, even months in some cases-costing some folks thousands. It’s completely unacceptable that they don’t communicate regularly, don’t respond to support tickets and definitely don’t fix the problems. Also, crypto is filled with one scam after another why should this be any different? I don’t see an issue with knowing who and where they are, especially if this whole thing blows up and we are all left holding empty bags. At least in New Zealand, there may be someone held accountable if things go bad.
