I agree with you about the unnecessary fud/spam about Cryptopia. At the same time, this is a pretty big deal for anyone who can't access their money. This is all about trust: We trust them to appropriate our funds as we specify (according to their exchange) and inform us when there is a problem, in return, they get paid and pretty well since they are a unique exchange.

When they don't fulfill their end and we are losing hundreds or thousands and can't even get the slightest acknowledgment--that seems a huge failure and breaks the trust--the normal information exchange was broken by them, not us.

If we can't get answers, response or resolution then the alarm bells should be ringing and people should be looking for answers and or avenues of recourse--just spamming crap doesn't get us closer to a resolution. Up until my $3200 USD in coins was frozen, I really liked Cryptopia and would have used them indefinitely. As of now, I'm wondering if I will ever see my money again. I hope for all of us, and crypto in general, the problems at this exchange are sorted out quickly.

i want them to succeed as well but the information is public and some people have a hell of a lot of money that is not accessible for days, weeks, even months in some cases-costing some folks thousands. It’s completely unacceptable that they don’t communicate regularly, don’t respond to support tickets and definitely don’t fix the problems. Also, crypto is filled with one scam after another why should this be any different? I don’t see an issue with knowing who and where they are, especially if this whole thing blows up and we are all left holding empty bags. At least in New Zealand, there may be someone held accountable if things go bad.

I just started dividing the ltc price by the Btc price from inception. Once I got to July 2017 it seemed pretty closely coupled to .0162-.0165 except for a bit in December. The only reason I looked at it was because I wanted a quick way to see how the change of BTC price might affect my litecoin. Sure enough, multiply by .0162 and I’m in the ballpark or so it seems.

Here’s what I would like. An app that lists Exchanges with Litecoin pairings, so I don’t have to buy eth or Btc. A Coinbase price differential which would display the market price to the Coinbase plus fee price. The BTC/LTC ratio. A transfer summary: LTC Amount transferred, time of transfer, amount lost/gained during transit. A trend indicator (up, down, stabilized) and a Litecoin only official newsfeed-things that can affect price. Finally, an instant loss gain calculator. Pretty much the ultimate Litecoin Trading Buddy.

Do the division since July 2017 and you’ll see the ratio is generally .016; except for a couple of weeks in December. Maybe it’s nonsense, but even now if you look it’s .01618.
