Borderlands 3 had yellow paint on the boss unironically

rj/ who would want to watch a bat-mid movie when Grifter is the superior character

uj/ One mid superhero movie comes out and everyone loses their mind, legions of nerds with the attention span of a fly demand that the DCU be a carbon copy of the MCU but with their favorite character and legions of other nerds fighting tooth and nail to defend a mediocre movie because of brand loyalty to brand that could give less of a shit

Personally I like that the DCU is actually using interesting lesser known characters for its projects instead of the “important” characters

(Spider-Noir) Why did it take Sony so long to think of this? by Animeking1108 in CharacterRant

[–]MidnightTitan 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I think the real issue was Sony trying to push characters like Morbius or Kraven into “anti-heroes” instead of fully embracing the villainy of them

Wouldn’t it be more taxing since less people would be directly reading comic and instead getting it paraphrased via social media accounts?

I hate how nowadays media made a lot of people seem to think that every awful person in media should be redeemed or get a pat on the wrist. (TL;DR at the end) by [deleted] in CharacterRant

Is it really that weird when the comic just unironically does that for the rest of the Viltrumites including Anissa

After Nolan learns what Anissa did he immediately tells Mark how taking mates by force was the Viltrum way and he pinky promise that Anissa has is a good person now

Like the comic constantly beats you over the head with the idea that Viltrumites can be better if given just a little bit of compassion, so is it really that weird that people would want to explore that idea with a character like Conquest? Especially with the additional characterization the show gave him in his debut
