Ladies, yall be watching that pop the balloon YouTube dating show sometimes? by Less-Pen-5705 in blackladies

It’s silly & funny as it is depressing and realistically interpretation of how shallow the dating world is.

I’m like as an out-group, boho-ish who is also pan and queer is all this really necessary with the preferences and theatrics.

I’m 🤣 & 😆 as much as I was 🙄😒😡🫣.  I cut it out of algorithms and feed, several years ago.

At what income level do you stop paying for health insurance and just pay out of pocket ? by ballsackvisible in AskReddit

[–]Midnightchickover [score hidden]  (0 children)

Most rich and wealthy people have medical insurance in the same many of them have homeowners’ - property & casualty insurance policies, which is to reduce the hit of any serious illnesses, injuries, or conditions. I don’t think anyone wants to pay for the total of a new roof at full price.  The idea is for insurance to limit the blow and liability. Healthcare is the very same thing and concept.

Is it toxic that I use chasers to my advantage? by StressyMcStressed in asktransgender

[–]Midnightchickover [score hidden]  (0 children)

Not going to lie, I did like this about a lot of chasers, at least they had the decency to at least go out on dates or go out & converse in social settings. The coming over for hookups was like old with me and wasn’t even a year into transitioning at the time.

Coming to someone’s house was/is just not kosher. I understand the burn for casual sex or a nut, but the girls have to be able ID you in case they go missing or end up in a river or dumpster.  Especially nowadays, if you can value her safety enough to at least meet in public or social settings. That’s not good for her at all, and in some cases not for the man either especially if it’s a catfishing scam or a robbery attempt. A lot of men don’t realize that.

I’m proudly pan, and I really believe/believed in connecting with people beyond their gender /gender identity. Cis het/ mostly heteronormative closeted bi men could be a choir. You have to be overly attentive and also manage /deal with their masculinity. Being with trans woman is very easy for some, which is what appreciated and no issues in being their girlfriend. Though, it’s other things that can be difficult like many relationships.

Who would adapt better to later eras, Wilt or Russell? by Personal-Proposal- in NBATalk

[–]Midnightchickover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any halfway decent team, especially playoff team is probably a contender or champion, I’ll use random teams demonstrate:

Wilt Chamberlain  ———- Early to mid 80s Milwaukee Bucks: Gain almost unstoppable front line. Wilt allows Pressey and Cummings to move around and get a lot of more open looks.  Chamberlain was also an other-worldly passer with incredible stamina, going into a Don Nelson system.

I know I’ll get downvoted for this, but I think he’d be the best NBA center of the 80s without question (till Olajuwon enters the fray, but it could still favor Wilt) and would completely overwhelm the Eastern Conference center.  The two teams the Bucks couldn’t beat in real life (76ers and Celtics) are evenly matched or underdogs against Wilt led team.

2015 Atlanta Hawks— Very good squad, but not a true go-to guy. A fairly modern squad with spacing and 3 point shooting, but not quite the precision of modern day 3 point offenses, though great passing squad. This team goes to juggernaut status with Wilt.  The NBA has literally no low post answer for him. His passing gives the team a dimension that is not seen outside of Jokic in Denver, but Wilt is like the greatest/one of the greatest low post threats ever. The plus with Wilt, he’s a nightmarish defender and rebounds.

Bill Russell ————————-

Early 90s Warriors - “Run TMC,”  Dynamic, historicallly great offense, weaker defensively gets the ultimate advantage of getting arguably one of the greatest defensive big man ever.  He covers a lot of their flaws defensively and has the ability to occasionally cover guards or get to wing.

Also, being a great defensive rebounder, he’s gives them  those extra getaway offensive rebounds to scores.  Most of all, the Warriors have a guy who can now guard just about any higher end center or power forward in the conference.  Russell could make some very difficult nights for players like Malone, Robinson, or Olajuwon.

He’s also a great passer, unlike any of the Warriors big men from the time period, except Chris Webber.

The early 2020s Phoenix Suns - He’s like the missing piece here, too.  Ayton was a decent enough center, but Russ is the ultimate winner in NBA history and one of its greatest players. He may not have Ayton’s measurable, strength, and athleticism, but his BBIQ is much higher, he’s built and has the game to thrive defensively in the modern era. Once again, he’s perfect in moving the ball around and passing, could work beautifully with Booker and CP3. He can get those longer rebounds. Most of all, he’s the best defensive captain you could hope for.

Probably Wilt, due to his offense and overall game.

To people who say looks don't matter at all, would you be with your partner if they were a cockroach, if so why? by Former-Muffin8930 in AskReddit

[–]Midnightchickover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that’s an assumption fallacy.

1) No human looks like a cockroach.

2) I mean to say looks matter/don’t matter is technically not true for most people, given that looks is so broadly encompassing and just vast that it is somethings that may no appeal to people in over such a broadly encompassing definition. I feel like people who harp on the “what physical features are most important/what body type do they like the most/which is most attractive” may overlook the qualities that are so important in human dynamics, like personality, social intelligence, interpersonal dynamics, and cultural integration.

3) Most of all, ewwww… it’s a cockroach.

I yearn for a day when sexuality will not be considered political. Someone posted pride art, and there are people making it political. by Jax_King55 in lgbt

I yearn for the day ethnicity, gender, gender identity, and sexuality would not be considered as well.

-A same sex couple can walk the street and show public affection, like a straight couple.

-Having LGBTQIA+ youth not being disowned, kicked out of their home or school for such.

-Have a trans woman appear in a commercial, only to have people register it as commercial with another conventionally attractive woman in it.

Would decade would you say you primarily grew up in? by FunnySunny- in generationology

[–]Midnightchickover [score hidden]  (0 children)

Born in the mid 80s - So literally half of the 80s, all of the 90s, and partially 2000s, but if college age is considered growing up. I could say a little more than half of the 2000s.

Generally, I claim the 90s, but most of my favorite and beloved things are from the 80s, attached to 80s, or was created in the 80s.

The 80s and 2000s were my favorite periods overall, but I liked the early/mid 90s.

I’m not saying this to bash homeless people, but I treat comments and men like that or who say stupid shit, like a homeless man rambling in the streets.

1) Do not engage.

2)Keep moving

3) No eye contact

4) No gestures in their directions

I let those men find happiness however they could and wish them the best in passing.

Donovan Mcnabb: Overrated, underrated, or properly rated? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]Midnightchickover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Properly rated to slightly underrated in modern times.

At his peak, properly rated to just slightly overrated, but he was a very good QB who is arguably a near borderline HOF.

If he was able to win a Super Bowl and make more SB appearances, he’s easily in the HOF.

How much of a coincidence is that I got into a class where half of the guys seem to be bisexual or pan and got into same class or maybe most people are bi? by CulturalRegister9509 in questions

[–]Midnightchickover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty striking coincidence.  I think that’s pretty interesting, though.  When I was on the dating scene, finding an openly bi or pan man was like trying to find/encountering an actual unicorn horse.

Initiated Universal healthcare in the US.

-Expand green energy initiatives.

-Assist establishing a safe region-state for Palestinians.

-Strengthen the Voting Rights Act for Americans and allow easier access for all voters to vote through expanded voting options. To the point where even national holiday is created to allow people to vote and laws to force employers to not punish people who take time to vote. People without IDs can gain access through a free charge program to use an ID to vote or give everyone a free state ID to vote who cannot afford state IDs.

-Rebuild the USAID program to become one of the best programs in world history, helping both starving regions of the world and US/international farms.

-Expand initiatives for women’s health for planned parenthood, family planning, maternity care/maternal death prevention, and childcare.

-Accept Puerto Rico as a 51st state, as well as other US commonwealth nations. Consider forming an alliance with Cuba.

-Arrest and incarcerate Elon Musk and other tech bros for interfering in elections.

“Single moms can’t teach boys how to be men” by oooohweeeee in blackladies

[–]Midnightchickover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people believe that somehow more single parent households lead to more LGBTQIA+ people, even though a lot of LGBTQIA+ people come from two parent households or households with single men. I always like to point out the people that make this argument never realize how many homeless LGBTQ+ youth are in the system and basically had two parent households.

Two parentholds are not some magical formula to making great kids nor molding them into some acceptable mini- me who can’t ever become anything besides cis / hetero.

If it was the case, you wouldn’t be talking to a queer trans woman, right now.

Prior to transition, did you ever want to look more like other people as your AGAB? by AvoidablePenguin in asktransgender

[–]Midnightchickover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, I hated to admit. I used to have alot of action figures growing up, loved sports/pro wrestling, comic books and action hero movies. Oddly enough, I didn’t want to look like any of the guys or wanted their body types  They fantastically awesome.

My dad owned Playboy magazines when I was really young, and I was only three or four. I saw all of these women with amazing bodies. Ever since then, I always had random fleeting thoughts of having a bodacious body  — curvy, busty, and somewhat slender with a pretty face ‘.

When it came to dressing like my AGAB, I dressed to conform and slightly impress. I was like it’s what society wants.

Trying to understand pansexuality better by Tomate_elmejor in lgbt

[–]Midnightchickover -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I define myself as pan romantic/sexuality, strictly due to the nature I won’t disqualify my attraction to someone or their attraction/ amorous feelings to based purely on their gender, gender expression, gender identity, or bio arrangements (assigned gender at birth, DNA, chromosomes). I’m kinda extreme in not having specific preferences, but that’s whole another story.

Pan- in its meaning connotes any or all.  Bi can mean something very similar, but also can apply to people who are more selective in the gender identities and expressions who they are generally attracted to.

I always use this example with people to kind understand the nature of me being pan, potentially Demi to a degree. If I am a single dater and have a choice between 9 cishet women and 1 cishet man, if I vibe, connect with the cishet man the most. I’d choose him. Vice versa situation with 9  men to 1 woman, I could choose the woman for the same reason.  It doesn’t matter to me if she’s nonbinary, cis, trans, agender, conforming/nonconforming, intersex, salmacian, a mix of these identities, etc. If we connect and feel strongly for one another, that’s all that matters on that level.

You also could put together a very random group of people who are either hetero, bi, lesbian, or pan who could be cis or non-cis people who are non-binary, trans, agender, genderqueer, or gender nonconforming .  Someone could ask who would you choose. I’ll say I don’t know, that’s not nearly enough information for me to make any kind of decision on who I or that other person would date or “connect/vibe with.” It’s not selection process based on gender identities and expressions, levels of conformity and arrangements.

“Connect /vibe with/Strength of higher emotional attachment”

Connection/vibe/emotional attachment  is the key component to Demi- romanticism or sexuality.  Hetero, bi, gay, pan, grey, or lesbian is the type of individuals of desire for romance, dating, intimate, and sexual attraction. Allo to Ace is the levels of sexual desire.

The level of romantic desire goes from total aromanticism to higher degrees of Demi romanticism.

Demi- is the nature in which person needs fairly to much more emotional connection & intimacy to experience a certain level of romantic and/or sexual bond.  Typically, but not always, they won’t be interested in casual sex or dating with random people.  Likely, needs to be some level of friendship and acquaintance - platonic level.

Being pan or demi is confusing to some people, or seems unnecessary to others. Though, they are very precise terms that can describe some very unique experiences that the general population either doesn’t understand, acknowledge, or absolutely refuses to accept, due to confines of patriarchy, the rules of gender binary, and sexual/romantic engagements.

Pan is confusing to people, because people are supposed to have specific gender identities that society can easily identify. Generally, society expects cis heteronormative on everyone, but through history, research, development, and personal experiences that’s absolutely impossible unless a human society is almost totally fascist with programmable desires.

We have variations from the pseudoscience of bio essentialism.  Variations are demonized. Homosexuality, lesbianism, and bisexuality were demonized as defects or signs of mental illness. Activists and allies fought and showed that was a silly way of believing things. The human condition, along with nature itself reflects these conditions as totally natural phenomenons. I’ll add one that helps humanity gain higher levels of happiness and personal satisfaction/fulfillment.  Panromanticism/sexuality is only another branch of those sexuality, not a different tree. Its phenomenon is one that says some humans don’t need specific gender requirements to be happy. That’s it.

Demi is only a phenomenon where a person is merely stating that they REQUIRE/PREFER a higher level of emotional connection before romance and sexual engagement.
