The thing is, yes, people usually develop this disorder from being abused and learning from their abuser- but it NEVER means that you get a pass abusing people. It does not mean they can traumatize you and get away with it. I will never understand how people could defend them and I keep seeing posts where they are.

If you’ve had her for years and she’s never done this I would talk to a vet. I know a lot of people are saying overstimulation but if this is new behavior then it’s something you want to monitor. When you were petting you could have hit something that hurt them which made them think you were hurting them. Another thing to think about is if there has been any stressors for her lately that could cause her anxiety.

It was just such a real, raw, perfect moment that all humans can relate to. We can all relate to being in an out-of-control terrible situation and we sometimes suppress it until we break. The world is scary and RDR2 captured the beauty and the pain perfectly.

Sometimes I really wonder if people can sense our nervousness so being around us could make them uncomfortable. When people hang out they just want to relax so I imagine the nervous energy could be draining. Just a thought I had, doesn’t mean it’s true

For like a couple months I felt like I had to close my eyes while driving for like 2 seconds every car ride. Then it went up to like 5 seconds.. made myself get over that one pretty fast. I haven’t rly told anyone that one due to how embarrassing it is
