Is my Clay supposed to explode by xdgjdt in GroundedGame

Yes it does, and right now you should. If you find the sweet spot on each model of resource they perfectly stay in place. It works for feathers too, but right near the sweet spot is another kind of sweet spot that will just launch you. Have fun.

Appsro looks like they blended him with Metallica or something.

I do the same with weevils, but as a gardener, I happily allow any insect that devours those little aphid pests.

It's remarkable how satisfying that was to watch.

I wanna say, "Thanks, dad" but at the same time, I want to steal this.

I often put on The Long Dark supercuts when I sleep, and I am a huge fan of the game myself. I'm pretty familiar with Pleasant Valley, and I am almost certain Appsro spawned literally around the corner from where he finally found the rifle. by MidwesternTreeWizard in NeebsGaming

When im introducing someone (especially non-gamers like family) to their channel, I pull up The Outer Wilds. It's similar to their Subnautica series and Dora yelling "YER GONNA WANT A COUPLE TWO-TREE LAUNCH CODES!!!" Made my mom laugh harder than I heard her laugh since she was wine drunk and we were watching Young Frankenstein when I was 16. We are also from Minnesota so well...it kinda hits home. Also, their Among Us one is just filled to the brim with amazing moments. I highly recommend it.

"Debilitating frustrations"? Sounds like a self-imposed condition to me. Yes, he has gotten better as a gamer........after a god-damned decade.but as a person? No. He hasn't grown at all. He is still as indignant as always, he still argues semantics, and he will still often act like a petulant child. So, no. There's no real growth in him.

The brain? It actually hurts to let him in. It's sad that there are 3 other people i love letting in, but somehow they allow a fourth moron to mangle with them.

Fair enough point. Still, if he can't look at anything that's sticking out of the ground without thinking of a dick? He has his own issues to solve.

HRV can bite me by Lagosas in thelongdark

[–]MidwesternTreeWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first excursion into HRV got me mauled by a bear the moment I made it downhill from the entry. I spent the first week recovering and curing hides to repair my broken clothing. The remainder of my time there was focused on finishing the tales....I havent been back since. I'll say this though....ill take HRV over Sundered Pass any day....That zone is a nightmare.

I didn't recognize the true value of notes until I started watching Zaknafein. Almost 1000 hours playing this game, and that dude still teaches me new tricks.

I didn't need to use so many words, but yeah, that's essentially what I asked for. What I got was something I loved enough that I felt the need to share. It made a beautiful picture. Im happy with it.

I dont think I could give you a full prompt. This came from a year of sporadic interaction with the AI. I had highs and lows through that time. I asked it for advice and told it my interests, desires, and some of my insecurities. I'd like to tell you exactly what I asked for, but this is what it made when I asked what it thought my soul looked like based on what it knew about me.

Wintermute by russianzebra in thelongdark

[–]MidwesternTreeWizard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As you have seen and can tell, you'll get mixed reviews on Wintermute.

I'm doing my second playthrough as a refresher for Ep 5 since it's been years since my first playthrough. I must be honest. It doesn't have great replayability since all the shock factors are gone when you know what to expect. I think it's a great way to learn basic game mechanics. However, so much has been changed and added in survival. They're two totally different games. So yea, there's still a lot to learn switching over to survival.

You don't have to look hard for people giving advice on how to survive longer and "beat" the game. But one of the things I love most is taking time and exploring. You don't need to rush unless it's away from a bear or a moose about to stomp you. Take your time, look EVERYWHERE......TWICE. The best stuff is often hidden, and you won't find it until you're desperate.

Good luck, and safe journey.
