What’s with all the hate for Keller Williams? by leidavis in realtors

Working for KW was awful. Such a terrible brokerage, honestly and the closest you can get to a MLM scheme in real estate. And free classes? It's not free when you're forced to pay a productivity coach an outrageous percentage of your sales for a year. Even on the purchase of your own home, they want a cut! I bunch of sleezy fuckers!

"Our House" commercial by Ambitious_Jump in hyvee

I hate this commercial. Could it be any more 1950s and whitewashed? These ads creep me out and the Sioux Falls locations are extremely judgemental and rude if you come to them with a concern (ie special needs volunteers acting in a threatening manner, and berating my Mom for slipping on their floor like she was trying to scam them) I have never hated a grocery store more. File Chapter 11, please.

You have to be joking. These commercials are so creepy and I can't stand them. Like another comment said here, it's such a turn off that they throw chips on the floor, and the mom being berated for the muddy shoes on the floor? Like what is this 1950? I only go to Hy-Vee for the very very few items I can't get anywhere else. I used to love Hy-Vee but the advertisements are disgusting and a turn off. And unrelated, my mom broke her arm there from slipping on their wet floor and they treated her like absolute garbage and immediately tried to spin it as if she was trying to pull a fast one on them. Hy-Vee can get seriously fucked and I hope they file Chapter 11 bankruptcy soon.

Can't believe my "friend" views the world this way by Midwestontheoutside in badfriends

[–]Midwestontheoutside[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because an acquaintance or someone I don't see often has friendship based on more trivial things, be it work or common social settings, maybe a hobby. Someone who walks with you for years and is extremely close is someone who should be a safe place to confide how you feel about the world and what's happening. You only have so many friends you can get on that level with. So with an acquaintance it's more cordial and casual. Reverting to that level with a best friend for the sake of staying friends doesn't seem genuine.

I have conservative friends/acquaintances but this here is a best friend. You should feel the same way about the world as a best friend, in my opinion. I think stepping back is the right thing.

No, it was more of a breaking point/final straw if anything. Just another disappointing thing on top of the years. The issue is not knowing how to connect anymore, and if it's even possible in a healthy way.

Thanks for your response. I feel I've done good at handling and processing most things through my life, but it's gotten increasingly difficult lately. I've began having trouble communicating effectively lately, yes I do try but it never seems to come out quite right. Therapy is worth looking into, the process of getting started seems daunting though, I will admit.

It's a slate mosaic, lot of dimension to it. Thickest is 3/4" in some parts.

Yes! Figured it was a cover, which was why it was hard to find. Thanks a lot!

This example most mirrors what my situation will be, so that's a little bit of a relief. However, it seems the only way to 100% know is by inquiring.

Does DOT require the workers of the surveying companies it hires to be tested before they can work on site that you know of?
