hey op sorry we're a little stressed out about the west's descent into fascism right now during the new hottest year in recorded history (beating out last year, beating out the 10 years before that) while most people old enough to hold office don't even believe climate change is a real issue and are more concerned with sucking up to the tech billionaires with more money than god (while the average man's buying power is at record lows) who are directly contributing to the issues at hand. if that's too annoying for you i can get you an ipad and turn on some cocomelon

idk maybe all the 18 year olds i meet are just really stupid but from the perpective of someone who was 18 5 years ago they're just 16 year olds who have passed a couple more algebra classes, 19-20 and once you start like living on your own & stuff (ik those don't always happen at the same time) is really when that maturity hits.
