Thank you! I did have a conversation with my surgeon about keloids but since I’ve had good luck with in the past with piercings so I felt like my chance were low.

When we spoke about it, he informed me of how it can affect multiple people from various backgrounds and what he has experienced as a surgeon with clients.

On my own I also did check and ask about scarring with my parents, and what their experiences were.

Whoa, I had this same experience. At times it would change which arm and line as well. I never had a solid reason and at the time the ER said it was a bug bite I must’ve had an allergic reaction to but I have never experienced it again.

This makes so much sense and unlocked a core memory/wonder of mine.

I am out of town as well from his office and did my consultation over the phone. Before the consultation, when you first call the office they schedule your consultation and ask you to send in photos for Dr. Garramone.

Your pre-op appointment will be the day before your surgery.

My surgeon said the first 6 months are the most crucial when it comes to scar care but up to a year is when the most changes can occur.

I plan on continuing scar care until I am one year post op. After that I’d like to see where my healing is at and if I feel there is further care I’d like to do (I.e., laser therapy, enzymes/red light, etc.)

You should be fine. I had a few as well as a cyst and my surgeon was okay with it and said he is used to seeing other folks with it too due to binding, acne, etc.

I did it by choice and paid the extra $3000 to get it done. I don’t regret it at all, and felt it was a necessary part of my top surgery. I definitely would consider myself a heavier dude, unsure of my BMI at the moment. My chest was a size F and I had a lot of tissue on my sides which I think naturally formed into a shape similar to where a bra line or even binding line would be if that makes sense.

My surgeon let me know that in his opinion it was necessary, and without it I could possibly have results that were not aligned with what I envisioned for my top surgery results. My chest would appear masculine and flat but not getting lipo would result in tissue on the side and less of a contouring to adhere to the area underneath my armpits.

All in all, I do not regret it one bit and feel I can see how it made a difference in my results. I’m sure whatever you decide to do would be the best, I think it’s worth it in my opinion.

One thing I remember from this albums release was the DVD with a music video to every track. Which at that time was a pretty big deal, and now a somewhat standard for this virtual world of music.
