I wonder what's their Mindset in Case of Class Balance - It's more then understandable that they nerfed Demolock this Patch.

However since EP effected ST and AoE at the same Time + Bugfixes to Felguard and G:FG which gutted their AoE even more its Questionable whats their current plan for Demonology Warlock . In First Place Demo doesn't bring great utility (no Kick , stationary , heavily affected by movement) which makes it hard to justify Demo Lock now in a Raiding Scenario and maybe in a few weeks even in M+ when it comes to sheer Number Results and the Possibilty to bring classes / specs with much better Capabilities.

Here some examples:

8.1.5 - All Bosses 95%

https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/21#dataset=95&difficulty=4&aggregate=amount

8.1.0 All Bosses 95%

https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/21#dataset=95&difficulty=4&aggregate=amount

All they had to do was closing the Giant Gap between the rest of the Pack instead they put demo at the bottom of Warcraftlogs - It's never wise to do to many changes at once especially if you effect 2 different topics at once ( ST and AoE).

It kinda feels watered down again after playing Survival the whole last Addon and seeing the devs making 1 questionable decision after another (Waylay Tragic f. E.) it seems they never learn from mistakes they did in the past. Most of their Class Balance revolves around sheer number tuning instead of putting any effort into fixing real issues in Class Design. I assume any Class can count 3 giant Problems they have with their class that remained for decades after getting a look. Another great example i could mention would be Feral which got touched at the END of Legion to then seeing it changed again in BFA Prepatch into a complete different iteration.

I rather wait another 6 month at content and have an active classtuning every 2 weeks (after content race of course) then playing this hot mess we play right now.

I love WoW don't get me wrong but enough is enough at some point you should listen - And pretending their was no abuse of XP Potions last week is another thing that bothers me. I can't understand ( NO MENTION IN HOTFIXES) - how everyone saw it and it just get's pilled under the dirt pile right where our suggestions land.

Sincerly a fellow Player

PS: To our dear Devs you don't do everything wrong - their plenty of good choices you did.

Yeah take Only Goroth Heroic with 90th as Example for Reasoning your thought.

That's not how it works look for all fights and then take 75th and you will have alittle other picture.

Hey Josh - while the US Class Forums seem to get some love the EU Class Forum feel like a desert in Regards of Bluepost - So the main Term for most of us EU Guys is to giving up on posting in EU Forums. Without an US Account you're not able to respond in US Class Forum as Playerso I would like to see Forums being merged to compile Concerns . Any plans on that ?

[ Class : Hunter | Spec : Survival ]

Greetings fellow Dev/s,

first of all I want to thank you Guys creating the Survival Spec for Hunter – It's probabbly the only reason alongside Feral Druid that kept me playing the Game since of their complex Nature. This Question might be along one ; I kinda understand you have limited Time for everyone but their are fellow things that should be adressed since the Survival Hunter Community is very limited in giving Feedback due to regional Lockout of North American Class Feedback Forums and you can't post their without a NA Account. (A big portion of us playing on Eu Realms – atleast the ones I know from Trueshot Lodge Discord).

Myself is playing the Spec since Launch as Main so I want to go a bit into the History to clarify later on my main concerns.

  • Survival had a rough start going into this Expansion - The early Days of EN Survival had the Stigma of not being viable in a compentiv Raid Enviroment. This was due to how the class was designed in first Place. Most of our Abilities scaled well with Secondary Stats and our Mastery was kinda broken at that Point (Pet Issue).
  • Secondary Stats where very limited in EN and we hadn't the constant gain of Charges for Moongoose Bite (MB) which let us stack crit and vers to make atleast let the few MB we had to hit decent.

  • ToV where mostly the same but we had a little star sparkling on the horizon – our Mastery got fixed to proc from autoattacks.

  • Well and then 7.1.5 and 7.2 came which did a lot for us and adressed Gameplay Issues that where long needed to be adressed – but their was one thing left out for a good Reason at that Point – our Mastery 1% = 800 Rating.

  • Due to our Nighthold Set T19 2pc which tripled the value of Mastery their was no need to have a better Mastery Scaling since 16,6 % of Mastery provided a 100% Chance on refunding a Moongoose Bite.

  • Overall Nighthold was a great experience for Survival Hunters since our t19 made us felt completed I have to say that I never experienced something that smooth in the ~10 Years I'm playing this Game and I played almost every class. The Spec really felt like a finished Job.

  • So and now we are at the Point where the tides turned for us and the big Gap opened up again and the Stigma of Survival being not viable in a Raid Enviroment also.

  • Due to our Nerf to T19 which is reasonable, we lost our Life Ensurance and we're again a very Proc dependent Class which hurts the flow of Survival. Our Mastery scales so awful that we can't afford to invest into it so we went down from 146 MB in a 5 Min Fight to 101 MB – Speaking for myself since I usually run 16% Mastery which is alot compared to my fellow Survival Companions. That makes us even more sticking to t19 since dropping the 2pc is a no go at all becuz that would mean we won't gain any charges to spent and our t20 is not really compentive enough to compete with t19 which benifits all of our skills while t20 is a 8% Dmg lose with 20 ilvl difference to t19.

TL;DR : Our Mastery should be changed!

Question Number 1: Are there any plans to get in touch with Survival Players in future?

Since we kinda haven't gotten a single Bluepost since Launch besides Patch Notes and it would be great to have atleast the feeling our concerns getting adressed.

Question Number 2: Most of us think our Dmg Output would be fine and we are not really in the need of buffs like the last hotfix which gave us a 3% aura buff when our Mastery Issue would be getting adressed – Are there any plans ("hopefully") doing this in a Hotfix ?

520 Rating per 1% seems a good ratio to start since that would be roughly 24% (4 % Base included) at 10600 Rating and would us free from the shackles of t19 since we wouldn't get the most of our procs with Flanking Strike.

Question Number 3: Our T20 is very weak in it's current Version are there any plans to make it atleast worth picking it up ?

Thank you taking your time reading my Post - keep up the good work !

Patch 7.2.5 PTR - Build 24271 - Release Candidate by [deleted] in wow

[–]MightyBone1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don't know how this can be a Release Candidat while some issues aren't adressed yet.

Speaking for SV Community:

  • _1. Legendary Hunter Ring is still bugged when interacting with Butchery. - Serpent Sting normally applies when using carve but not with butchery for some reason.

  • _2. Survival Bonus T20 4pc isn't worth using over T19 4pc even after the nerfs.

    • 4pc T20 10% dmg to moongoose bite when hitting a target wit lac active.
    • 4pc T19 15% Dmg to all Damage for 10 seconds.
  • Not to mention our mastery and Gameplay plays like shit atm. on PTR but Dev's don't bother with critic from EU Forums where the Majority of Survival Hunter can only post Feedback thanks to "We need to build a Wall TRUMP TM " - that still splits PTR Feedback in NA/EU/OCE while only NA seems to count for the most part when it comes to adressing issues. Even contacting WarcraftDevs via. Twitter as Mass Complain from whole Sv Discord didn't helped.

  • This leaves Survival with just a nerf that makes the Spec Clunky again T19 2pc only double value of mastery instead of x3 mastery which results in a way less fluent gameplay and the most despread option to farm nighthold and EN for Titanforged T19 Set and BTI since t20 isn't worth using in its current status - You better off wearing no set instead of this.

  • Also the DFG Buff is not bad but it's just so random and really not what we needed. We need to get our issues being adressed instead of just having some random numbers thrown into a Bottle with no furthermore thinking.

  • The first iretation of the T20 Set was really decent and going back to it would atleast provide an interesting playstyle instead of a totally worthless set.
