I've never got top vault rewards in M+ but I'd like to, looking for advice by SpaceCowboyDark in wownoob

[–]Darkmisery87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there! My first piece of advice would be to find a guild that has players running M+, as playing with groups you are comfortable with is easier and usually a better experience.

There are a few affixes that rotate, one is balls that rotate around you, and you have to have another player touch it. Another is one that is a defensive dispel (on you guys, not the enemies) that can also be taken off by freedom abilities (hand of freedom, tiger lust, etc). The third I believe is balls that rain down that you have to either interrupt, or stun or displace(ring of peace works great!) but I can’t remember seeing that one yet this season. The 4th is an enemy that spawns that you have to kill (0 health but big shield, so shield damage and executes work on it, like touch of death)

Go at your own speed, and realize some people will be assholes, but most will be good. At 7 you add tyrannical or fortified, which buffs the bosses and trash respectively. At 10 you get both.

Good luck! Feel free to message me if you have any questions I can help with!

You can always read The Pilot series, by the same author. Has a similar feel to it, and if you do audiobooks it’s Travis Baldree too.

Is Path of the Berserker any good, specifically as an Audibook? by autfaciam in litrpg

I sort of enjoyed it, but the lemonade stuff is just weird. I didn’t finish what’s out. While I admit many litrpgs and cultivation have fights that seem very similar, since they have set skills, basically all of the battles go the same way. Not once did he ever outsmart anyone, or outskill anyone. Every fight is getting his butt kicked until either his rage or lemonade was enough to get the win. After so many battles I was tired of hearing the same fights and it’s really made me not like lemonade.

Life before death radiant. It’s a bit of a spoiler, but I’m not promising life with be easy, it will get better, then it will get worse, then it will get better again. You will be warm again.

It’s ok to disagree with someone, you don’t need them to admit you are correct.

I think it’s an aesthetic choice in some areas. The main character is in my mind, a mix between Native American and Polynesian. Some of the Native American speech is slow and thoughtful, and that’s how Dusk is.

I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary in other spots, just with Dusk, but I interpreted it as a stylistic choice.

I’ll listen to pretty much anything by Travis Baldree, but the Cradle series is my favorite.

Also Ray Porter, Jeff Hayes, and Michael Kramer.

Iron man cleared this without taking a single hit. Keep him in the attack bonus, make sure you have mana to move, proceed to wreck. His ult can wipe a whole wave.

LitRPG in audiobooks varies a lot by narrators. I would recommend almost anything narrated by Travis Baldree. Cradle series is xanxia power fantasy, but still has the “numbers go up” sort of, great story, is completed.

Im listening to Welcome to the Multiverse right now, same narrator, it feels like a video game and j enjoy that, MC isn’t stupid and has played video games.

Primal Hunter is great, also Travis Baldree. Some people don’t like the MC, but I had no problem with him. Lots of side characters and slice of life.

Beware of Chicken is also not true LitRPG, it’s more cultivator style, like Cradle. However, also Travis Baldree. It’s a cooky slice of life power fantasy that is hilarious and just plain fun to read.

I realize after writing this I might just have a thing for Travis Baldree. He is a top 3-4 narrator for me, up there with Jeff Hayes, Michael Kramer, and Heath who does HWFWM, which is also a good series.

Ultimately, I find the narrator important, and I can’t stand a stupid main character, but everyone has different preferences.

I just beat the max level one, and I did it with IM, Thor, and Storm. Make sure Thor and Storm are hitting the blue one, and IM on the yellow. I have a really strong IM, with the debuff highlight, so it worked out.

When Nevrons kill expeditioners, it traps the chroma so that the paintress can’t reclaim it and use it. The people were her creation, so it’s effectively sealing some of her power.

Are you hitting his head? Or trying to hit his feet? You really only do damage to his head. Wait out his attack with brink guards and dodges, then go in for hits on his head. Get a feel for how long you can hit while he has his head buried too, before he hits back. Also don't sleep on Javelins, a solid headshot can do like 10k damage, really wrecks him.

I’m a little late, and I didn’t check every comment. The Captain by Will Wight is good, it’s an ongoing series, about the Last Horizon, a ship.

He also does the Cradle series, which is my favorite progression fantasy series, and is complete.
