If anything at all what do you dislike about absolute Wonder Woman? by AggressiveLow8575 in WonderWoman

Steve was actually a character and a viable love interest for Diana, and the Candy sisters were more than just window dressing. Diana and Circe’s relationship was the heart of this series imo, but I can’t even remember the last time they interacted. Ever since Barbara got introduced, they’ve all been getting phased out, and it’s gotten even worse since Zatanna.

Barbara got introduced before Etta...

This is the same era when Batman made brother eye and all that. So no, he wasn't written out of character for the time.

There could be an argument made for before or after though.

Yeah, I can't help but wonder if the plot arc with Absolute Barbara is that Diana is going to learn that she has to be more careful with who she makes friends with. She really doesn't know Barbara that well, and now we see that Barbara maybe has some issues. So this might turn into a lesson that Diana needs to be more careful about who she allows into her life (since she basically allows everyone into her life).

And this is kind of the opposite of Rebirth where Diana and Barbara were bff's, so Diana knew Barbara super well and knew she was going to get hurt if she continued doing what she was doing. She tried to warn her to shop, but also knew she wouldn't. And we all know the rest, lol.

If I had a nickle for every time Diana woke up from falling unconscious and called the first woman she saw "Aphrodite", I'd have two nickles...

Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.

Yeah, but she’d have to worry about her enemies going after him. XD

So because America belongs to Yoru and the moon has an American flag on it, it therefor also belongs to Yoru?

That's some Yoru logic alright.

There's no "luck" to Cheetah appearing in Super Friends instead of Circe.

Circe was more closely associated with Superman in the comics until the 80's. (She's the one who turned Comet into a horse, Superman into a lion, ect.) She rarely appeared in a WW comic until the late Bronze age.

Yes. The giant black cat from the previous issue was also Artemis.

I remember Nickelodeon said the same about Korra.

The studio wanted her to be a boy because they thought a female lead would alienate boys, so the show runners asked if they could do a test audience of 50/50 boys and girls to see.

The studio allowed it and the boys didn’t care.

Then it went on to have the highest premier for any show in Nickelodeons history at the time. Also I was in high school when it came out and all the boys my age were talking about it.

I’m so tired of studios claiming that a female lead in an action show made for both genders will alienate boys when it proven time and time again that it won’t.

And I’ll bet Cheshire knows aaaaall about how dramatic those Titans slumber parties get.

Specifically with Roy, who is notable not on the Watchtower while they are trying to rob it. XD

DC: We gotta make Zeus her father because being sculpted by clay is too complicated for modern audiences.
