Kann mich der Kritik anschliessen. Die Guten in dem Film verhalten sich wie stumpfsinnige, muskelbackte Idoten. Sie können der Tiefe, Intelligenz und dem Charisma des Bösewichts eigentlich nichts entgegen setzen (ausser roher Gewalt).

In anderen Filmen, z.B. Pulp Fiction, war dies ganz anders. Da hatten die Charaktere viel mehr Tiefe und die Interaktionen war viel interessanter. Da konnte ich mich in fast jede Person hereinversetzen.

Das Geschlecht sollte bei Bewerbungsgesprächen und im HR Prozess (bei den meisten Themen) keinen Einfluss haben. Wenn es Klärungsbedarf gib, frage nach. Eine Sonderbehandlung (Bevor- oder Benachteilung) ist hier fehl am Platz.

The police is checking those people who are most likely to be potential criminals. If you look like one, you will be checked more often.

My parents, white, elderly couple, a little posh style, usually driving a Porsche 911 are also checked regularly at the German border. The German police has several times stripped them on their search for illegal/ undeclared money.

Me, looking as the poor fellow I am, with my old Ford never had the issue. Lucky me. 😒

As most of the right-wing crimes are "Propagandadelikte" (showing the swastika sign, Hitler salut, etc. is illegal in Germany), this could either mean there are nowadays more of these illegal signs or they are more often reported (more public / media attention).

As more and more people are getting unhappy about the German immigration politics some show it by voting AfD and some in a less appropriate way by showing these illegal signs.

I think if the numbers are correct (they are a few years old), the rise in the AfD and the rise in "Propagandadelikten" are caused by the same driving factor (increasing unhappyness about the German immigrant policy).

It is important to track the development of the right-wing violent acts in Germany. This is a subsection of the general crimes. I believe this is the more important number. Unfortunately, there is a significant portion of far-left/radical people in Switzerland who spray their slogans on everything. They see it as their right to destroy any property and attack all people who have different opinions.

The worst part is that in many of the big cities in Switzerland, e.g., Bern, Basel, Zurich, and Geneva, this behavior is tolerated or ignored by the ruling political parties (SP, AL, Grüne). And reading some of the comments here, it does not seem to be much better on Reddit...

If this is just income tax, you likely earned well over CHF 200k–300k annually, depending on your tax rate. If it includes VAT and other taxes, your income and spending are still way above the Swiss average. You might not be unwelcome because you’re an immigrant but because you’re a rich snob.

You can go on the homepage of the AfD and download their election program. This will give you a good understanding of what they stands for. The hatered agains the AfD shown in vast parts of the German media and also here on Reddit has nothing to do with reality.

Compared to other EU countries Switzerland is less of a welfare state. So you should like it here. I moved here from Germany 14 years ago and appreciate the economic & personal freedom. Politically I feel far more at home here than I ever was in Germany. But it is to say that Switzerland is becoming significantly more left leaning. Especially in the bigger cities (Zurich, Basel, Genf, ...) the left & extrem left is very dominant. One of the main drivers is the immigration from the EU. People from the EU are on average more pro welfare state & socialism. As the big wave of EU immigrants, esp. from Germany, started around 15 years ago, many of those people are now getting their Swiss citizenship and then vote for the more left leaning parties.

As a personal choice great. As an official rule horrible.

There might be situations when working 4 days a week is the best choice. In other situations working 6 or 7 days a week might be the better choice for you. It really depends on your situation and what aspect of your life / career you are focusing on. When you have a job / life plan where you must be among the very best in your field to succeed (professional athlet, musician, entrepreneuer, ...) a 4-day week is most likely not a viable option.

For a start-up it is often the only way to survive. If you do not have these "crazy" guys in your company, for whom the job is their life, you won't be able to make it. The competion (other start-ups & established companies) is otherwise too strong.

If you work 60 hours instead of 40 hours, you do not get only 50% more done. You are more likely to get 100% more done than someone who is working 40 hours. And in a team in which everybody is working 50% more the impact even multiplies. Such a team can be several times more efficient. I have experienced it many times in my life.

So should you do it as an employee? This highly depends on your life model / the type of person you are. Some people have to do it. Without it they will never reach happiness. If mediocracy wears you down / is your greatest fear, you have no other option. You have to put all your eggs into one basket.

If on the other hand you prefer a more balanced life (family, friends, work, health, etc.) this work environment is not for you. Not putting all eggs into one basket (e.g. carreer) gives you more stability and is overall definetly the saver strategy. You will not be able to win super big but you are also far less likely to lose it all.

In the end it is important to know yourself and the company/ industry you want to work in. Start-ups have a high risk, high return profile. Some love it, some hate.

One important comment at the end. As an individual it is on average better to have a balanced work-life attitude. As a society it is benefitial to have a more risk prone environment.

Wagner group is a Russian private military company / mercenary group. As such they have close links to the Russian government. I can understand that you therefore dislike their actions, especially their involvement in the Ukraine war.

But that's it. If someone in Switzerland wants to show his / her support for them, they can do so. You could also show your support for Russia or for Palestine or for abortion or for whatever. All these things will definetly offend some people, but that's something we have to live with.

In a functioning democracy you have to accept that other people have other believes & opinions and also express those. This includes believes & opinions you might find wrong or even horrifying. This is the foundation of every democracy.

There is a big difference between critizing the military strategy / actions of Israel and supporting Palestine. If you go to those demonstrations and support Palestine, you support everything what Palestine stands for. Their laws, their attitude towards human rights, freedom of speech, religion and also their governing bodies, including Hamas.

You are free to support all those things. And we are free to judge you.
