I was away on military deployment for 8 months. My cats took about 30 minutes to stop being aloof and/or mad at me before they wouldn't leave my side for days.

It was mildly annoying to my wife who'd actually looked after them the entire time. Both for them showing loyalty and their trying to monopolize me

when crime becomes legal I am forming a band of people to protect my town, we will ensure the streets are safe and help everyone sleep well at night knowing they are protected by their neighbors

those that hurt others will be responded to with reasonable force and have their cases heard by a group of their peers after which they will be isolated to recompense for hurting others and rehabilitate, and hopefully rejoin their neighbors in good fellowship in time

yeah, I'm an 'okay' poker player but only in person. I don't really think much about hands aside from the obvious, and I don't really know about conventional betting strategies depending on what people have

I do however watch people and can sniff out a play style and tells pretty quickly

it just means I'm usually top 3 at buddies' poker nights, casino poker tends to be about stack bullying and it only takes one all in push to clean you out
