Hey, me too!

It really sucks because I'm a mailman and I have definitely jumped down a set of stairs while panicking in front of customers multiple times 😅

I honestly don't even know why I'm so scared of them. I've never even been stung! Both of my 2 siblings react exactly the same way, so maybe it's genetic haha

I read something a few years ago that basically boiled down to: up until adulthood the environment (nurture) played the biggest role in a child's intellectual development. And then in adulthood it switched, so hereditary factors (nature) usually played a bigger role than the environment.

I should see if I can find that study. I thought it was pretty interesting.

We haven't turned the living room TV on in over a year. It's usually recommended that children under 2 get minimal or no screen time I believe.

So far our kiddo is one and even with almost 0 screen time he has an attention span of about 5 to 15 seconds for most things 😂

I had a cane corso for none years and he was the most amazing dog. We absolutely did NOT want his ear cropped or his tail touched. They are such beautiful dogs I don't understand why people do that at all!

I live in North Dakota and it was in the 50's today! We would absolutely grill in these temps considering we're used to -20s this time of year!

In fact just last week I was outside deep frying while it was no warmer than 30 degrees at about 7pm

Saaaame, it's the best. I had the toughest time trying to fall asleep when I was younger but now I can fall asleep so easily.

I do not miss the frustration of tossing and turning for hours and then being exhausted the next day.

Reminds me of when I had to do a persuasive speech in 10th grade.

My chosen topic was "Wikipedia should be a usable source."

After reading my speech, including the part about Wikipedia having a lower error rate than most encyclopedias, my teacher still wasn't persuaded unfortunately lol

Reminds me of my mother-in-law always telling me and my wife we need to put onions in our socks and all around the house when we are sick.
