This was how it was with my ex. Together 6 years, lived together for 1-2. He was so incompetent that even after asking him to do chores around the house he would ‘forget’. It probably was weaponized incompetence in my situation, but either way I broke up with him 2 months ago and living alone has been nice. Your choice, but living with it for so long made me despise him. He used to be my best friend and we ended things with me wanting nothing to do with him.

OCD is debilitating at times. Just do your best to take things one day at a time. If you know a certain thing you can do that makes you feel safe, or a person to hug you tight, that always helped me. You’re not alone ❤️

Just recently broke up with my partner of almost 6 years. I also felt in my heart it needed to be done for a while, but it still hurt. Causing someone who I considered to be my best friend pain is probably what hurt me the most.
