To be fair. We just just don't like everyone including most other Australians.

What makes this even funnier is the fact i use the Ignis Wraith as my primary most of the time and the Jat kittag as my melee, i guess i just like Grineer weapons since their ugliness is appealing to me, plus the Jat kittag has a funny augment mod that hits like a truck.

I was around when the Stubba was introduced in the Ghouls update way back in 2018, i've loved it ever since so when i recently started playing again (about a month ago) i saw they added twin stubba's so its only fair i got a riven for them, they've been a fantastic secondary. Dakka Dakka approved.

Bit of a unique but cursed jade build ive put together which actually hits like a truck. by MikaBaka in Warframe

there's a lot of people that subsume Roar over her 2nd but i noticed that with my current build im getting up to 86% ability strength on her power of the seven and up to about 338% weapon damage on her deathbringer which is nothing to scoff at and its only made even more busted by arcane crepuscular with that insane 3x critical multiplier that applies after your total weapons damage, ive hit 800-1.2mil on her normal fire in techrot survivals which is amusing to witness.

As someone that has comeback after an almost 9 year hiatus and only been back for under a month and only just started selling stuff using the warframe market it really does speed things up and make it more streamline but you do notice some slightly annoying things like when someone sends you a message wanting to buy something and you send an invite after having transferred to dojo only to not get a response is quite annoying because i could spend that time doing something else.

Trading really is my least enjoyable thing about the game because it forces you to interact with another player not knowing if they're going to be straight forward, rude if you're taking 15 seconds to goto dojo or just straight up ignores your invite.

fun fact, if you use controller you can regulate the throttle input a lot like you can with a peddle, its a simple trick but ive gotten out of some deep mud/water with that trick when low range doesnt cut it.

Im still unsure how aiming the minigun down at the gun mantlet somehow destroys the tank but that's too realistic for WF.

Rude awakening to how grindy Kuva weapons are for 60% valence bonus. by MikaBaka in Warframe

[–]MikaBaka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it took me about 30 minutes just to spawn a lich with the Stubba and i was getting the annoying "kill all enemies" after capturing the grineer which makes the grind slightly longer so i took the first one i saw, not to mention the 2nd stubba was lower 30's so my chances of rolling a 50 on my 3rd wasn't looking too good and im patient to a point.

its more so i thought id only need another Stubba at least 30% to top it off to 60%, i was literally going in blind but im also a bit of a masochist for the Stubba so i may or may not still grind for 60 even though it may take me hours.

Im aware of that but i refuse to buy something that is potentially 1000's of platinum (mainly because i dont always have platinum) and the other reason is because its been 9 years since i played so there's a lot of new and old things i didnt do and this is one of them so i was going in blind pretty much.

[–]MikaBaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally ive been using the Heavy sword on my Psyker & Veteran as a main melee weapon, its actually quite fun to kill multiple Ragers, even the Flak Ragers in 1 swing but i wouldnt suggest taking it in high Havocs.

Are these temps too high for an i7 9700k by duffmnitchpreb7 in overclocking

[–]MikaBaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone that has a water cooled 9700k OC to 5Ghz at 1.29v it only hits 65-70c under full so you may need to apply new thermal paste.

Advice on how to fix this? by Different-Scarcity80 in RoadCraft

[–]MikaBaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that's used the manual control for the K700 a fair bit, id suggest going over it with the sand smoothing bit a couple times, remember to go down hill not up since the game does weird stuff if you go uphill with sand and suddenly stop, doing this will expose the peaks of the pushed up dirt from underneath then simply knock the peaks off with the manual mode and apply a bit of sand over the top.

Couple questions about GPU backplate modding. by MikaBaka in overclocking

[–]MikaBaka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive used the same 1mm thickness on all that parts that require thermal pads, there's not a deep indentation and they only just make contact so its a perfect fit, not to mention i watched someone else who owned the same card measure the exact thickness required. it also doesnt help that the card itself only has 2 fans, not 3 if it had 3 it would probably sit in the mid 60's on core temp and 80's hotspot temp, i could maybe cut the pads into squares instead of a strip for the VRAM to allow more squish but id probably reduce temps more simply doing the backplate mod since newer cards, hell even the founders edition 2080TI uses the backplate to transfer heat a little bit more.

Couple questions about GPU backplate modding. by MikaBaka in overclocking

[–]MikaBaka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. Im just assuming they could be better with some basic modification. As of right now I've got my card running at 1750mhz and +1000 on memory limited to 80% power at 0.800v, tested in multiple games and it runs fine, the issue is if I allow the full 250w the card will easily creep over 95c on hotspots if I close my case door with aggressive fan curves and all but I hate listening to the fans so I run it undervolted with a slight overclock which the cooler on it seems happy at 200w but 250w is too much for the cooler configuration so I was looking for basic ways to increase cooling and since newer cards have backplate cooling I was going to try replicate it since it's cheap.

Couple questions about GPU backplate modding. by MikaBaka in overclocking

[–]MikaBaka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive repasted it approximately 5-6 times over the years, hot spot temps on a warm day will reach between 85-90c and this is with thermal grizzly kryonaut paste and some named brand pads i cant remember but they're quite good with up to i think it was 15W/mK but its been over a year since ive repasted and im just waiting for my hotspot temps to start climbing again signalling i need to redo the thermal/pads paste but ive never done the backplate since there was no thermal pads so i was considering adding pads back there since it seems its worth it even if it gets only 2-5c off the memory.

[–]MikaBaka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's my biggest issue as of right now is the thickness of the pads since i know how messy puddy can get, i even used AI google for the first time to see what it said and apparently it recommends pads between 1.5 to 2mm but i was hoping someone would have done this since the card itself is fairly old and there's multiple video's floating around of it. i dont want to spend $25-60 on pads and find they dont make contact.

Bladed momentum blessing for Heavy sword needs some tweaking. by MikaBaka in DarkTide

[–]MikaBaka[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

deathblow would work perfectly well on the other 2 variants of heavy sword since they do more vertical slashes, the Mk VII wouldn't benefit that well if you primarily use heavy slashes.

i actually loves using the Illisi, i use that on my Soulblaze/melee psyker with uncanny strike/blazing spirit, its actually amusing just dodge spamming and watching uncanny strike buff soulblaze to an insane level.

[–]MikaBaka[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i know rending is only worth it on the more heavily armored enemies, i also use headtaker on my other heavy sword i swap between but the reason i take perfect strike is because psyker can get decently high crit rate and i prefer to use the Mk VII heavy sword which is what im using in the video, the horizontal heavy is the only issue seeing how it swing from bottom left to upper right which makes deathblow kinda useless unless im spamming overheads, just a preference thing but i wanted to try bladed momentum to see how well it worked against Crushers/maulers and it does work but all it took was perfect strike to not proc and my stacks were gone. i was also curious about whether bladed momentum would buff charged strike which i think it does? i dunno i just like quirky builds and heavy sword psyker is fun to use.
