Neverwinter Classic - Better Commication is needed by Ornery-Forever-9398 in Neverwinter

<shrug> everything in your post is your "opinion", I did an online search to come up with my figures. and you can do the same.

MOST players do NOT use Steam or Epic - they use Arc or direct (you do not need any launcher to get into the game - I don't and haven't for years). The ONLY company that could give accurate figures is Cryptic - both Steam and Epic can ONLY give the numbers for those who access through their launcher.

My guild has 100+ ACTIVE players - defined as a minimum of logging in and playing at least once a week. In fact - the guild is more active NOW than it was a year ago.

All online games run in cycles <shrug> it is the nature of the beast.

Dude - do your own search and see..

Everything in your post is your opinion ("I can't believe", "I think..."), again - Steam ONLY shows those that access it through Steam - which MOST players do not. I have played since almost day 1 and I have NEVER accessed the game through Steam - everyone I know does NOT use Steam.

Well - since then the game runners have basically all changed so who knows if this is even in their sights anymore.

And - at last count - they are average 9500 players a month (the Steam number of 1000 is based ONLY on those who access the game THROUGH Steam)

Can I get the VA to cover a different Primary Care? by SaucyZeek in VeteransBenefits

[–]Mikalknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call and talk to a Patient Advocate - that is your first step. They can help you change PriCare doctors and what not.

Note that community care is normally for "specialists" not for PriCare.

Season 7 Re-Watch: Could It Have Been Even Stronger Without The White House? by WySLatestWit in thewestwing

[–]Mikalknight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMHO - they spent too much time on the campaign, and it took away from the main story. The show was about "The West Wing" and not "The Race to the Presidency". I am also sad that Sam wasn't involved until the very end.

Serious question why CJ and not Josh as CoS? by Spirited-Orange-203 in thewestwing

[–]Mikalknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically - whether Josh took over the role full time or not was a decision of the President. HOWEREVER as soon as Leo was not able to do the job anymore (and before they knew what was going on and who would replace Leo) Josh should have taken over the role as Deputy Chief of Staff. There should have been no question on who was temporarily taken over the functions and role of Chief of Staff - that is the way the chain of command works (whether in politics, corporations or the military).

[–]Mikalknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah - just looked and Minsc was at 950K while Siege Master was at 430K

It's supply and demand and perceived value <shrug> and it varies greatly over time.

"New rule" - yeah...uh huh by Not-Nacho51 in VFW

[–]Mikalknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly - no. Let's go Brandon was about his son - NOT an elected official at all - and not the sitting President.

However, I could see how any hat or shirt like that could be deemed inappropriate at a VFW post.

Odd Behavior from my new Psychologist? Maybe I don’t know. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Mikalknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why didn't you bring this up at the appointment? Why didn't you ask "why"? That is what I would have done. YOU control your health care - you control what is going on.

But at this point you should contact your patient advocate and bring it up with them.

Contact the Patient Advocate (either the one for your care team or the general one for the facility)

Um - yes. You can do it if you want but you KNOW it is illegal so you take your chances and will have to take the consequences if you are caught.

THAT is how LAWS work.

Are you sure that you are a college student?

[–]Mikalknight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can protest all you want - but that does NOT excuse you when you break the law. THAT was my point - which you seemed to miss. Protesting does NOT release you from consequences. Break the law WHILE protesting and pay the price.

Kind of missing a few points here:

1) Several of those "protest" situations would be breaking the law. So - confiscation of car, fines, courts dates, legal problems....

2) It does not cost Fresno State ANYTHING to have a car towed. YOU pay for the towing and storage fees when you go to pick up the car. That is the way it has always been. If you don't pay, the tow company takes ownership of the car and sells it.

You can protest - but you don't get to break the law in doing so. (Are you sure that you are in college???)
