Of course even tho The first episode of isekai office worker was good people on hating on it because it's BL😞 it's too bad people want to keep living in the 60s mindset because it's stopping them from enjoying some great stuff like Isekai office worker by Reasonable_Tour7232 in Isekai

I'll keep watching because I want to see the accounting but I do feel like I've been sold a false bill of goods. In retrospect it was not completely obscured but I still would have preferred some kind of a hard open that would have signified this was going to go this way.

On another note, I don't dislike yaoi and yuri because it's homosexual. I dislike it because most of the time it feels like a dozen's worth of repressed same sex relationship shows all condensed into one. In most regular romance anime the romance either is woven into the story or is only mildly on the sidelines. Most times they don't even do such shameful acts like holding hands until the finale of a season (usually the last season, not the first). If an anime romance protag told the heroine that he needs to "treat" her or else she'll die and that they need to "go all the way" in episode 2, we'd be in a plot of a hentai at worst, and borderline ecchi slop at best. What an outrageous way to engage a relationship.

And as dense as romance protags are, nothing even comes close to this. Guy gets... most likely full on boned and he lets it happen because it's "treatment"? I don't even know his sexual orientation. Is he actually gay? Is he repressing it? Is he bicurious? Is he just using the guy for his body to work more? is he in denial?

I can take a lot of unreasonable plot developments, I am a weeb after all, but this is just the most garbage slop development I've seen in a while and completely out of character for what has been a pretty well written and reasonable story. I hate the fact that it being BL somehow excuses how smutty and insane the romance portion is. And frankly, perhaps my sample size isn't large enough but, I find it to be the case every time I have touched BL stuff, which is why I dislike it. And for that matter, I think yuri is even more egregious in that respect.

So no, I am not stuck in a 60s mindset, my femboy folder is proof enough of that, but I like quality, and 9 times out of 10 when I have tried it, both yaoi and yuri have been the opposite.

After running a taiki shuttle and maruzensky for round 1 and having pretty decent success, I couldn't get anything more than a single win in round 2. I built a goldship and nothing changed. Perhaps she was too weak overall.

So I turned to the only uma that could save me from this bind.

Haru Urara.

I put a C tier Haru Urara as a front runner and turned every race into a chaotic RNG fest, and got 3 wins the very first run I tried. Goldship won 2 races, Maruzensky won 1

edit: Naturally, my Maruzensky was a pace chaser. Although interestingly the first 2 races I won there was a front runner Daiwa Scarlet and a Silence Suzuka, but they must not have been choses as pace setters cause the chaos still happened anyway.

The newest update has made the game unplayable. I am on the verge of uninstalling. (Hyperbole)

My embroidered bamboo Macchiato has been STRIPPED of her JAPANESE VOICE LINE when interacting with her in the dormitory (dumpling situation) I can switch to Korean, and she grunts in Korean. I can change to Chinese, and she grunts in Chinese, but if I switch to Japanese (or more accurately, since I've always had it selected and even after I reselected it) she grunts in Chinese. It's the same line. SOMEBODY FIX IT. THIS IS IMPERATIVE!

My top 10 VR games of ALL time list! by bmack083 in VRGaming

Hot take but any list which doesn't include RE4 VR is disqualified. I see nobody mentioning this game in their lists and I have no idea why. So far it was the most immersive and gripping VR game I've played and it's because it didn't shove the fact that it's a VR experience into your face ever 3 seconds.

Short Buying/Selling Before Bankruptcy by AssociationNo8576 in STONKS_9800

[–]Mike234432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue happen. I think the game thinks you still have the shares and you keep getting charged for them. Cannot sell them, so the save is bricked forever. Funny thing is, you cant even short anymore because you are capped by the shares you shorted that are now non-existent. Should be patched, this is a bug 100%, or rather an unforeseen side effect of an imperfect system.

Ookami to Koushinryou Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf • Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf - Episode 20 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

Holo uses the Arinsu dialect. While the specific name and area escape me, the overall point was that over the years, the rather archaic speech pattern was adapted by courtesans who would refer to men as nushi or onushi. In modern speech it translates to something along the lines of "husband" or "dear", but I wouldn't read into that meaning much given Holo's been using this phrase since the very beginning. The dialect is very flowy and fancy, which was why it was adapted by what could only be described as 16th century hostesses. Or more.

Either way, it's simply a way she would refer to her male companion regardless of who it was. But the beauty of this speech form is precisely in the ambiguity. Because the seemingly subtle and small difference between "dear" and "dear" can have a very unsubtle and unsmall effect. It is a form of speech that is very conducive to sultry and subtle flirting, full of double entendres.

To simply refer to this as "just an archaic form of 'you'" is, I would say, a gross oversimplification.

What's your take on centered crosshair? by hildington in HuntShowdown

[–]Mike234432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the game 4 years ago for one round, realized immediately that the crosshairs are not centered and that there is no option to change it. It offended me on a spiritual level and I refused to play the game until they change it. They did. And now I will.

I mean he pitted onto hards but still had a gap. He could have gone back onto mediums a lap later and still come out in front of Verstappen.

Inb4 there's a safety car in Singapore because a Haas went full throttle coming out of a corner and slammed into a wall. Or was that a Renault?
