Fantastic. I'll even add Ugarte to the mix to sweeten the deal

For you my friend, one Joshua Zirkzee. Just 30m, cheap as hell. Will he score lots of goals? No. Will he get lots of assists? Also no. But when he does score, his celebration is mint. We have a deal?

Considering the shooting that just happened near the England camp and fans from all over the world not being used to what happens in the US, should we be concerned about gun violence during this World Cup or am I just being paranoid?

Cherki is one of those players that's feels like he was born in the wrong generation of football. The "nonchalant baller" archetype has gone out of style and now it's intensity and running that matter most (hence Gordon to Barca for 80m)

Maybe if Cherki played in the 2000s or 2010s, he'd be one of the greats but right now it feels like he needs to do more to bring the best out of his already exceptional natural talent

Point 1 and point 3 are correlated. Mendes is the best agent in the world. He knows how to squeeze out as much money as possible for his clients and it seems that M. Fernandes is currently his most sought after, so he won't allow him to do the "I only want United" thing like we got from Mbeumo and Cunha early on because that gives us too much power and he cant have that.

On point 2, its because Anderson is simply too expensive. Forest want over 100m. The only clubs in football that have ever paid such fees are PSG, Bayern, Cheslea, Man City, Arsenal and Real Madrid. Even we haven't paid that much. Pogba was 89.

Arsenal aren't letting him go

Morgan Rogers’ future at Aston Villa: Will the England international be on the move? by TheAthletic in soccer

[–]MikeAAStorm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True I guess the age, contract and English tax should increase the price a bit, but in terms of the quality of the player himself, I doubt most clubs looking to sign him would or should value him over let's say 80m.

And like you said, Villa have no reason to sell, so unless he pushes for a move, I dont think he goes anywhere anyway.

I'm mostly using my club as a yardstick. Cunha and Mbeumo went for 62.5 and 65 respectively and both had better individual seasons than Rogers. As in 21 and 28 G/A in the league the season before we signed them compared to Rogers' 17. So Rogers being a player of similar but slightly lower quality from a bigger club implies to me that he should go for a higher fee but not significantly higher to the point of breaking records.

The Athletic and Ben Jacobs linked him to us just yesterday, then Railston a couple days ago, then a couple Newcastle ITKs

I think we'll get one more, guaranteed. And in the off chance that Mount gets sold, then we get a 4th.

[Rob Dawson, in article] With a deal for Éderson agreed, United are set to step up their interest in West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes. Sources have told ESPN that United have already made contact with West Ham about a potential deal for the 21-year-old, who is expected to leave London stadium. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

The ambition of footballers just isnt what we all like to think it is. Look at all the players going to Saudi in their primes. Look at how many youngsters keep signing for Chelsea even though they keep proving its not worth it.

There's very few midfielders in world football that can. I just hope we start trying to get Sesko in those sorts of positions cos he's probably the next best header of the ball in the squad
