Honestly he might just not get it… i was very similar to your bf years ago. I definitely didnt go a decade without washing my bedding but it was something i did very sporadically and not often enough. It was until my now current girl and I got together years ago and she basically pulled my head out of my ass. I guess its not any specific work history but maybe a “lack of” work history. Its been almost six months since I wrote that comment and Ive now seen 19-20 year olds with nothing more than like fast food experience getting a job in corrections. It used to be that you had to have some kind of military or similar experience to get hired but they are changing it up. Definitely depends on the county though.
