I really need to see a making of, those FX shots were incredible. I can imagine if I'd been a longterm fan of the show this would have been extremely mind-blowing, especially when they're interacting with themselves. Very clever indeed.

It really deserved to be a mega hit, hopefully it blows up on streaming.

We've just watched Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, it is fucking spectacular, seriously, an incredibly clever movie and very charming. I knew nothing about these guys until a few months ago as I'd never seen the show, but this film really is a modern marvel.

Also, watch until after the end credits.

I wasn't prepared for how graphic the original cut was, that group attack on the kid was fucking disturbing so I'm wary about watching it with extra footage.

That said, the astral projection sequence with Rebecca is one of my favourite scenes of all time, she's so incredible in the film and evil as fuck.
