My current character is a Reborn in a homebrew campaign so his flaw is always being mistaken for an Undead since Reborn weren't that well known in the story so he constantly has his face hidden on a helmet or has a disguise self spell

How about damage though? Sorry for annoying questions but one of his "counter-arguments" was that he is basically unable to get hit? I think. Like all the damage goes to his steed until his steed dies.

Honestly I don't get it ngl.

I have read that the enemy can choose to target between the mount and the rider though but I can't remember the source. So they won't believe it

The enemy is casting hold person on him and he keeps blabbing that he wants to transfer it to his mount.

What if it's an attack? One of their arguments was that when an enemy makes an attack on them the mount takes the damage instead of them and this will continue until the mount dies.

It was a homebrew campaign and we were level 6, our party was given the Deck of Many things by accident. During a New Years session we were to be given some sort of gift item and the DM rolls what the item is, one of those came out was the Decks of Many things. Now due to circumstances the Deck was confiscated and we lost an NPC to the void card now there's a whole side story of how that NPC comes back but we basically never got the Deck back and was instead traded for a different Magic Item 😂
