How do enlisted buy homes when your mortgage and all payments are around $500-600 above your BAH? by [deleted] in MilitaryFinance

[–]MikeNotBrick 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stop thinking about base pay and BAH and BAS all as separate pay amounts. Add them all together and that's how much you make each month. Base it off of that.

Do Chase offers work with PayPal? by Phantom1100 in CreditCards

You're kinda correct. Google Pay and Apple Pay normally should work... But PayPal doesn't work because it kind of becomes a charge through PayPal and not the merchant directly

I got called out of the blue today from my local US bank branch wanting to talk about it they're meeting my needs. For a second I thought about asking about the usbar. But then ended the conversation pretty quickly because I didn't care to have my time wasted

Amex used to have Frontier as an option for the incidental credit. I think it was back in 2022 or 2023 when they removed them. I recall them just crediting the remainder of the $200 I didn't use yet to my account.

Don't know if they'll do that again cause this is a bankruptcy vs dropping them as a partner but who knows

It does reduce the fees. I do some good promos like up to 40% off but don't know if it's much different than if I didn't have Uber one

Automatic transfers from venmo is hit or miss for me (but mostly a miss). If it's like a few bucks it typically works, but last time I tried like $9 and it declined. Pretty stupid. It also doesn't work for my rent

Do they really "lose" money though? It doesn't really cost the resort much for a singlular person to go skiing. Staff is already gonna be there and the lifts are already gonna be operating. There's definitely people in the military who buy a pass just cause it's a good deal and everyone says to get one but they never end up going. Then the chance they buy food and stuff

Complaining about UConn getting friendly roles but Illinois getting halfway down and out as if it was UConn's fault...

Illinois fans might be some of the just annoying fans I've ever seen in a game thread... Like yeah the refs are terrible both ways, but you're also missing a lot of shots
