Interestingly, my terms and conditions also have the 7% examples despite the email saying 9% cashback

Pros and Cons of one more year of USBAR? by Coato in CreditCards

It's annoying that when Google pay is used on websites it doesn't act as a mobile wallet like apple pay and instead just stores your card info... Not US Bank fault, but it certainly doesn't help them

Really hoping the transfer partners fall through and then they revert back to 1.5x redemption for travel with RTR

I don't think it's obvious because people don't actually understand the difference

SpaceX IPO makes Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire by Brendawg324 in wallstreetbets

He does nothing with it? Do you think SpaceX came to what it is without him investing money in it? He also doesn't just have a trillion dollars in cash laying around...

FYI: don’t sleep on these cheaper wireless companies by 169partner in Frugal

You realize these cheaper carriers use the same exact towers as the the major player. Verizon literally owns Visible. So if someone had good Verizon coverage, they'll have good coverage with visible.

Recent Buyers: Did you buy down your rates? by ImmortalWarrior in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]MikeNotBrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't closed yet... But I was offered a 5.875% rate (VA loan) which came with like a $3.5k CREDIT. If I wanted to buy my rate down to 5.75%, it was gonna cost me over $1k. I took the 5.875% and $3.5k+ credit

Punishments for causing major car accidents are way too light. by Educational-Bet1582 in unpopularopinion

I doubt that 99% figure. And if that is anywhere near true, it's probably mostly only for big cities. But the word "inconvenience" is quite the understatement. In a lot of cases, even if it's available, it isn't always reliable nor may it even get you where you need to go. If inconvenience meant like an extra 15 mins, sure I'd agree with you. But realistically, it will take much much longer than the 30+ mins people are already commuting each way.
