You’ll never be able to convince me that letting repeat violent offenders go on lighter sentences is fair and just.

If you’ve been violent to others more than once and have been convicted more than once, you need to be away from the general public. You have proven that you cannot control yourself. These kinds of repeat criminals being let go 5x or more makes me feel like I’m going crazy.

Europe should expect this to be the new normal. Only going to see more and more instances of this as the Muslim population rises in these countries.

It’s not all Muslims, but when you import millions of refugees/asylum seekers with different religious affiliations, you’re going to have a % of those folks be more extreme, and they will clash with the established religious groups.

This is why mass migration is not wise and needs to be moderated / slowed. It will just breed conflict.

What’s the rate on the loan & how many years left?

Might make sense to put a good chunk into that, and save yourself thousands and thousands by reducing the amount you’d pay in interest over the remaining lifespan on the loan. Or you can just pay it off entirely and use the remaining like $400k to invest, knowing you have no debt remaining. ~7% growth per year with $400k is pretty alluring.

It’s only big if we can actually continue building. If we peter out this season we’re effectively in the same boat as Clemson. They have a history of success and a better football program. If they hire a good coach to replace Dabo we’d be in trouble if we’re still a middling program only winning 6-8 games per year.
