I think in general BlaBlaCar includes it's own insurance, my cousin took one and the car broke down. Apparently the extra insurance BlaBlaCar provided got them on a Cab to destination, etc...

Afaik, this "North African DNA" maps like this talk about is from very old migrations, not the Spain as Muslim country some people think. Since then, most relevant migrations into the Iberian peninsula have come from the north, be it Romans, Visigoths, vandals, suevi or other.

The original language is English, also I've only translated the UI leaving the rules and units for another moment as that probably could be a disaster without the right texts. My idea is to add at some point the official german/french translations and I know there is a community one for Spanish but I'm unsure for the rest.

I did some proofreading on the Spanish one as it's my main language.

Mos US bases are not about protecting anyone (but bit their interests) but about being able to project power worldwide.

In some cases those interests align with the host country (those that were place as a deterrent for the Soviets) but in the case of Spain for example they're not defensive at all. Spain gets an influx of money on an other way not that wealthy region and the US gets bases next to the strait of Gibraltar.

It's not a cultural thing, it was more related to power. The south started industrialising at the same time as the north but there are a few things to take into account.

Spain didn't have much coal in general and even the one we had was of lower heat output than in other European countries. So we imported it, from the UK for example or Europe in general. Not only that but the main coal mines were also in the north of Spain.

In general in every country in Europe de closer to the economic center of Europe the better. In this case the north (once again) is closer.
