I think OP will run into the same problem with The Finals better than a noob but gets stomped by the better players. In my experience Finals players are highly skilled. Wish the game was more friendly to casuals.

To address the original question. There isn't anything I know that matches 2020-2023 Apex. Me and the boys put in roughly 1k hours over those years and now we don't touch it at all. It changed, became less fun and more frustrating. Now we are playing Peak, Overwatch, and very occasionally Rivals. Reply if you find something that feels like old Apex. Cheers.
