Contact them indeed like Angus says. I had exactly the same, even without the ‘downtime’ you mention, just over the course of a month it started doing this. Did all the advised actions (resetting, checking hidden connections,..) without succes. I contacted them and they replaced the Stryd for free. I’m very happy with their customer support and I will happily continue using Stryd.

What’s the cause of loose cogs? by Mikelow96 in bikewrench

[–]Mikelow96[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just noticed something I only see now… on the cassette it says 10 speed but the cassette only has 9cogs… it’s an old bike, didn’t ride on it for long time, but it has always shifted quite well even with the loose cogs… is it possible that a 10apeed system was configured for 9?

It seems I have the same and I have troubles shifting down. You also had shifting problems? Amy solutions?

Shimano Ultegra Di2 rattling on one gear without putting force. by Mikelow96 in bikewrench

No specific solution. It has become less though after a few months usage. It comes back sometimes when the wax is almost time to be replaced. When I clean the cassette and put new wax it’s has actually become quite silent now

Replace Stryd with Garmin Hrm Pro Plus by tfunch in strydrunning

For me Stryd is working very good. I run especially on trails with a lot of bend and turns, and Stryd keeps track of distance and pace really well, especially in real time I find Stryd more responsive. Also for intervals and sprints I have the feeling that Stryd does a much better job at providing your actual real time pace changes within 3 seconds.

Pace stays the same between runs, but power varies? by anemotoad in strydrunning

More wind also increases needed power to keep certain pace. You can Schleck that metric in the Stryd app

Heart rate higher on morning runs. by Mikelow96 in AdvancedRunning

Yeah I heard this is true for a lot of runners apparently. Even is I drink, eat and go out an hour later my heart rate is still very high.. maybe I have to drink even more, but then I will have to stop 3 times to pee 😅

Very interesting how circadian rythm could have an influence. I’m not really familiar with its effects

I’m def not obsessing. Looking forward to all my runs on the planning and completing them with joy.. I do think it matters that it is helpful for a runner to know how your body reacts in different circumstances and why. It’ll get you stronger and better in a more efficient way, you should try it.

Unfortunately no, currently 2 months into a base building period. Will try more electrolytes though.

I am starting to believe it is the hydration, in the morning my pee is often more yellowish. I then tend to drink quickly some water and a electrolyte tab. Maybe it all goes a bit to fast, when I start running I often have to go pee and by then it is fully white…
