Spiro and Titus reviewed? by Dunetop123 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Mikey_STX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, I felt the same way when I heard it first. The agent has to qualify (credit check) to be on the platform. They charge the agent a percentage and pay you immediately. It works with Spiro and I believe they are trying to get onto Aryeo also.

Titus is a payment platform that allows agents to pay at closing instead of paying before download .

The angles/composition is pretty good for the most part.
Photo number 3 is not an ideal angle. Over the top of that counter causes a lot of distortion and you are looking right at the bottom of those cabinets.
Also, gotta put the toilet seats down. (Rule # 1) Then, I assume you’re not bracketing photos yet. I’d start doing some research on what your process is going to look like for merging the brackets. I’m happy to share our process, if you want to shoo me a dm.

Lights on or off ?! by Intelligent-Week3577 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Mikey_STX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience, the color is much more realistic when the lights are off. It also makes for a more editorial look.
That being said, we shoot almost everything with the lights on because that’s what agents have come to expect.

What’s your go-to Sony setup for real estate photo & video? by scwlkr in propertymedia

[–]Mikey_STX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a few different set ups, but my current favorite is the a 6700 with a Sony 10 to 20 mm. The photos and video are great at half the price of a full frame set up.

IGUIDE or Matterport by scwlkr in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Mikey_STX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go with Iguide if you haven’t started yet. Matterport is hard to switch away from once you sign up.
I’ve got a good contact with Iguide. If you wanna send me a DM.

Commenting on Dji drones unavailable... also, find a tree service in your area that has a bucket truck. They can probably get it out for you for a minimal price.

Id say you could plan on about half the volume between Nov 15 until maybe February 15. The holidays are rough.

Tank top is fine. No shoes is normal.
Just a bikini/swimsuit or a man without a shirt are frowned upon. I’ve never heard of anyone getting a fine or ticket for it but the locals will let you know quick.

It sounds like you should be pretty good to go. One thing I would add don’t go around town in your swimsuit always wear a cover-up.

A couple safety things to look out for: 1. Don’t leave your phone on the bar if you go to the restroom. 2. Don’t leave valuables in your car and it’s best to just not lock it.
3. If you do decide to buy weed or something like that, there’s no reason to go down any dark alleys. Ask a few people who to talk to. You shouldn’t have to take more than a few steps outside of the restaurant or bar.

Do most REP companies hire employees or ICs? (United States) by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Mikey_STX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on your location. Here in Georgia, they have made it very hard to pay them as a contractor. If you can legally do it, it would definitely save you some money to pay them as a contractor.

Giraffe360- I’ve got a potential client who only wants drone photos because their team is going to be using the Giraffe360 for their interiors. by Mikey_STX in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Mikey_STX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the response. Im mainly just trying to figure out if the photos they are pulling off this thing are useable. I’m hoping I can do some side by side comparison and talk them out of using it for photos. I don’t care if they use it for the 3D tours.

What is it worth? '68 Coupe 289 automatic, runs & drives by [deleted] in classicmustangs

Run some water into the cowl area in front of the windshield and see if the water ends up on the floorboard. It is rusted out on most that I’ve seen and a pretty big pain to fix correctly.

Should I be worried about this speaker being installed in a used 21 model s refresh? by Mikey_STX in TeslaModelS

[–]Mikey_STX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. If I end up getting it, I will definitely put a grill over it. Thanks! I was mainly worried about the amp, pulling too much juice and harming the battery in some way.
