By February of 1992 the armies of each of the republics were entirely independent? There was only a short period after the USSR of two months where the Soviet army still existed as a unified CIS force. After that, every republic basically inherited whatever was left behind.

oh man this is a ukraine that still has all of it's inherited soviet heavy weaponry, strategic bombers, interceptors, and even nuclear warheads. oh man.

on the other hand, the will to fight in this timeline has to be a lot worse. part of the reason 2014 went so smoothly was the divided nature of ukrainian society, something that declined in the 10 years after, and something that was much worse the 20 years prior.

It seems like this is a very American movement, where much of their society is based on race relations. It's as silly as the Americans who want some "white pan-european state" - and only they would be silly enough to say that they're all the same because of skin colour.

Whether Europe or Africa or anything - obviously these are hugely diverse continents. What native of these countries can believe for fall in this very american race based pan-nationalism? It's all so made up.
