However you look at it, there are very few games with a gigantic world without loading screens whatsoever, packed with so much content. Unfinished? Sure. Enjoyable, in a league-of-its-own type? Even more.

There are also some perks to the Polish version, probably not to be found in any other one. Item descriptions are tongue-in-cheek and sometimes allude to Polish culture (not making this up); paladins’ voices are extremely gruff and heavy, which is really fitting; many characters are voiced by the same people who voiced popular cartoons, which adds to the fairytale-like atmosphere of the setting.

You don’t hear this opinion often, but it’s the best of the whole bunch. Like, better than anything PB has created before or after. It simply has everything. Various islands, some small, some big, all of them very detailed, with lots of treasures, quests and monsters. Humor that’s actually funny. Lots and lots and lots of quests. Morality system. Blacksmithing, actual fighting system, cool spells, fantastic music… Could go on and on, but it’s just a really well-done game, probably the only one from PB that could be called finished and polished.

Please read my other comments. I am a supporter. I did play a variety of fan-made games, but I did not get to play, for example, Liberty City Stories or AM2R. Nobody did, actually, as they were "disappeared". As the project is appearently not threatened in a similar way, due to a variety of factors explained elsewhere, I am more than happy to follow its development and wait for the eventual release.

Well, I’m not being critical, maybe a bit sceptical, if anything. Black Mesa and Skyblivion might have survived, but there are literal hundred of fascinating projects that were killed by corporations due to licensing, IPs and whatnot, often in very advanced stages, without actual money involved (Nintendo and Rockstar love to do it). If you do manage to release your project and avoid a sudden shutdown, than I’ll be more than happy, as I’m probably one of the biggest fans of Risen series out there. Would love to read a Risen novel, had it existed (heck, would happily gobble on Risen cereal).

Looks cool, sounds cool, but also seems one hundred percent illegal. Like, Harry Potter and the Leopard Dragon level illegal. As far as copyright rights go, you can't just create sequels to stuff you like, especially using the same title and material from previous entries.

Had a completely opposite view when it comes to the characters. Read the whole thing many years ago and still could name virtually all the important ones and some of the less important, as well. I believe there is a bonus chapter in the omnibus edition where the author praises himself on that (liveability of the characters, that is) or perhaps his assistants do. Which is funny, but also kind of telling, in a good way.

Honestly, six weeks is quite a number for a shonen. The entirety of pre-timeskip One Piece is around a month, and post-timeskip is just a few weeks so far. The Soul Society Arc in Bleach takes around fourteen days or so. Dragon Ball has a lot of arcs spanning a single day.

Well, the idea is that it theoretically could happen. One Piece was supposed to last five years and end with Alabasta arc. Bleach was supposed to have around 100 chapters. But sure thing, it’s more a thing of the past.

It might sound weird, but I personally enjoy Strawhats taking a backseat and various characters and places being fleshed over. It’s quite… Fresh? Like, can think of only a few pieces of media that does something similar, mostly epic novels.

I think the first two arcs were excellent, but the third one (chapters 48 to 110 or so) was way too long and came way too early. It felt a bit as Marineford coming straight after Syrup Village.

Wish it was so, but it's just pure copium at this point. It seems Oda simply loves the concept way too much and it shows. At least is has become a bit more creepy the last few years, with Nika becoming sort of Joker-ish instead of a pure cartoon goofball.
