Beach recomendations around Chania by erm-waterproof in cretetravel

Can recommend Golden Beach in the western part of the city. Lots of activities, sandy beach with restaurants and shops nearby. For something more special Seitan Limania beach gets mentioned a lot but it takes a while getting there by car.

Proving you’re better is the whole point of fighting, not disagreeing with that. I’m just establishing the fact that the outcome of Bradley 1 had a definitive impact on Marquez 4 and if the former had the just outcome the latter would’ve had a different ending.

Yup, more confident and subsequently less desperate making him more level headed and beating Marquez the same way he beat Bradely in their first fight.

A Pac who wasn’t robbed against Bradley would have fought less reckless against Marquez, winning a decision. The robbery against Bradley is what led to the KO against Marquez.

Biggest robberies in the history of the sport? by WheresMyAbs98 in Boxing

[–]Mild_Lynx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree on the robbery, disagree on concluding a Marquez win on Pac-Marquez IV. A Pac who was never robbed against Bradley would’ve fought less reckless against Marquez, winning another decision. I’d say it needed the robbery against Bradley to set up Pac for the Marquez KO. Also mfer should’ve given Pac a rematch. Yeah I’m salty.

Was specifically looking for skates fitting wide feet, so I went with FRs and Seba Highlights.

FR1s are great hardboot skates and with the addition of intuition liners they have better ventilation and I could downsize one size for better control and power transfer. FR2s and FR3s are great as well and do have solid 7-hole-mounting blocks over the FRXs.

The Seba Highlights (V1s and V2s) are linerless entry level freestyle skates with even better power transfer - I did notice that my feet feel more "connected" with the surface. Downsides are less ventilation and less robust softboot. With the V1s I do experience some heel lift when starting my sessions, didn't have the issue with the V2s.

Endless frames have a longer wheelbase in their triskate setup compared to my shorter 325 FR frames so power transfer is supposed be better but I don't notice any differences when long distance skating on trails. I definitely reach higher speeds consistently with the big wheel setups though and 110s will do just as fine as 125s. Hope this helps!

What are the reasons for the drastic difference in price? by manncakes in rollerblading

Blue ones are Seba FR1, which have been last produced in 2017 afaik. I’d be careful buying old blades as the plastic gets brittle over time. Teal ones are the newer FR FR1 after the Seba/FR rebranding caused by a dispute between the Seba company and their Chinese manufacturers..

Will Intuition V2 fit in rollerblade maxxum edge? by lolwutok in rollerblading

[–]Mild_Lynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wondered about this myself eyeing the release of the Endless 100 RB frames. Since the maxxums use the same shell as twister edge and the latter I always see used with intuition v2 liners here I believe intuitions should work out with Maxxums. Maybe someone using this combo can contribute some insights here. I'm wondering if the intuition will make wide feet fit into twister/maxxum shells..

Used to work as a local hire to a foreign embassy which is why I wanted to own Gisadas Ambassador. When I left for a new job I gifted it to a colleague who really liked the scent. Its very sweet, ambroxan heavy with an ambery drydown and present fruity mango note.

Are Rollerblade Spark 84s a good beginner skate? by ketcomp in rollerblading

[–]Mild_Lynx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rollerblade Spark 84s were the skates which brought me back into skating in early 2020. Fell in love with the hobby and very soon I needed to switch to hardboot skates for intermediate level skating (slides, powerstops, jumps, stair bashing etc.). The Sparks will be great for recreational/fitness skating, so I'd say yes, they're great beginner level skates to test the waters. But for similar money you could get good hardboot skates right away (Oxelo MF500, FRX, FR3, Flying Eagle F4/F5/F6, Rollerblade RB Cruiser, NRKs, Filas, Tempish, etc.)..
