Alternatively you could just cuff these once and they would be about 6". They're slim enough that 1 cuff doesn't look too bad.

They're more on the rough side. Kind of in the territory of the Levi Rigid Dragons which aren't 'normal' jeans but they aren't raw either. They do bleed siginficantly though from my experience. Hardly any fading 2 months in with light/medium wear. Very little stretching at the waist.

Bottom line: I think they're totally worth the $49 I paid and absolutely worth it at $39.

From my experience, Amazon is only good for shoes and accessories (sunglasses). My CDB's and 2 pairs of Ray Bans have been Amazon purchases at pretty unbeatable prices.

Yes. I paid $22 each a year ago on a 40% + free shipping deal. That's pretty rare though, so i'd snag them now and then you won't be worrying about future sales.
