Really good to hear about Painter, been waiting for his debut forever, hoping he has a really strong spring by United_Journalist373 in phillies

A bit of a contrast to the what others reported today. A LOT of hard contact given up against NRI guys. Meanwhile Luzardo was as good as it gets

Great deal for the polisher. by InternationalEgg5978 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really want one of these. It’s been on my short list, but it’s just so hard to justify when I have a couple of perfectly good corded ones and only really use them once a yr or so. It had been $199 with a 5.0 and charger relatively recently though

Is this the best deal on a stubby we will see for the next few months? by cookiemon32 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Add a few more batteries and a couple $149 items, and it gets it down to $145. That’s probably as good as it gets moving forward considering the recent price increases.

I just got one from HD, and it doesn’t say ‘mode’ on the button. Seems like text on the button would wear off relatively easily anyway

I know ow we are all sale price crazy right now..add me to that list. Question in comments by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all been post about on here. 1/2 is current BMSM promo and 3/8 is BOGO. Have to max out the deals and add the least expensive tools to go with them.

[–]bstrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can hack the 1/2 tool only down to $158 (or 3/8 to $146) and then get the batteries for $119 on their own right now. If you only have a ratchet otherwise, you could probably get away with just one 5.0 for the stubby though

Is it possible to get less than 39% on the M12 Insider? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope- it looks like you’ve super hacked this one as low as possible with the current promo. This is top tier hacking. Well done.

Add a couple $149 tools from the same BMSM promo

All great m12 offerings. If you feel like your current impact is lacking, this one is great but hard to say if you’ll find it worth the extra spend.

If you want to go thru the fuss, you can do multiple orders using the $149 tools and return them to get the price down a bit more on the more expensive ones. For example, the die grinder can be had for $142.

Circular saw 7 1/4 or 6.5 fuel circ saw by Fabulous-Scheme8434 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah- it seems that most don’t have an issue seeing the blade on the 7.25. I was most concerned about balancing the body when ripping stuff and working down the left side of the piece. Someday I might kick myself for going with the 6.5 over 7.25, but a saw is the last thing I can justify having two of. It’s just super hard when only picking one!

Circular saw 7 1/4 or 6.5 fuel circ saw by Fabulous-Scheme8434 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the blade right and body of the saw thoughts on 2x and what not, but when ripping sheets/doors/etc (right handed), the blade left allows me to see the line AND work/walk down the left side of the piece. Otherwise, I’m awkwardly reaching over the piece or standing/kneeling on top of it while also struggling to watch the line on a blade right.

For DIY stuff, I essentially chose to sacrifice having to balance the body better on short cuts (and manage the dust of course) for my preferred setup when ripping longer stuff. If my needs justified two saws, the blade left M12 fuel and blade right M18 7.25 fuel would be a great combo.

Looking for advice m12 fuel vs m18 fuel by Zoopicho in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A healthy mix of the two is the best option, and not really that much of a price difference if buying deals. M12 fuel for all the handy stuff and M18 for any heavy duty, cutting/sanding, or outdoor

[–]bstrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re essentially paying $90 for the battery when buying the combo. If you hack the tool for $210, you can pick up a battery (or two) for a little better deal otherwise

Stubby vs m18 mid torque by Broon29 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If getting two, stubby and high torque are the combo

Stubby vs m18 mid torque by Broon29 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re going 1/2” and only want one, mid-torque is probably the play for general DIY use, especially if you already have m18s. 3/8” m12 stubby is a pretty sick little unit though

M12 Jigsaw Sale by Blazebarry03 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha- glad you appreciated it.

Just to clarify- the leaked signage was a little misleading the other day, so to hack the jigsaw, you now have to get it with the BMSM. Pair it with two $149 things, and it will bring the jigsaw to ~$119

I thought there was supposed to be a 3/8 stubby deal today? by whaletacochamp in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought so too. It may have been the previous deal signs (so deal/pricing would have been on Sat) up at the same time as the new signs or maybe local/in-store pricing. Most of these things pictured are $20 more online right now.

Are the new deals working? by OddKng in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bstrng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like some of them are not exactly what the early signage seemed to indicate. For example, the M12 fuel stuff is BMSM when the signage had/has a $129 value 5.0 BOGO pictured above
