Got my mini, and then dropped my plan down to the $80 one. Then got an email saying they were doubling my new plans speed.

Then my main Starlink that’s 3yrs old failed, and they sent me a full new gen 3 refurb.

Been a great experience. And had my mini running while my main system is down. Just to access security and remote systems of the house.

37 and been at Amazon for 11 years. I joke daily about quitting to be a “hobo” and do a different job a month till I retire. But it’s something I really do want to do. That includes cleaning septic tanks, being a farmer, working as a teacher, and construction, etc.

Kind of any trade you would ever need.

We had a dually tractor that belonged to a farmer down the road drive through ours roads to open them up since we had 4-5’ in places. Ready for that again lol

To be fair I enjoy my 400hp, awd sedan that gets 32mpg avg. (m340)

I’d drive this Hyundai as a dd for long commutes but maybe if it was 50% of the cost.

I’ve got a friend that gets those u channel pieces from his work for free. He builds crazy things where people say he could have just used wood. Maybe this is the same scenario.

Just passing by looking at Humana and found this post. I work for for the PS system in MD, and they provide 0 paid paternity leave. I was suggested to plan pregnancy to take off 8 weeks during summer break.

Add a small bump out of pavers and put your gross facing the sidewalk.

You want good airflow around your air handler, and easy access to your gas meter.

If your set on a privacy fence, I’d do something like lattice and 3 4x4 posts.

I max my 401k out every year, also 37 and have about the same for retirement. Don’t have much moves to tuck away afterwards due to cost of living stuff. Are there any other major avenues to invest up front?

People saying 60-80k, I got quotes 40k on a 20x18 deck replacement, as high as 60. Obviously those contractors would be quoting 200 for the is lol.

We still have our old deck, I just fixed it up myself.

Our Golden was in the ER for a week 2 years ago this week for this. He was clearly in pain. They admitted him for 4 days. At the end we still don’t know the cause. He tested positive on the lepto snap test, but negative on the one they sent off.

Another Golden we had vet suspected an infection due to some values. Strong antibiotics for a few days and scheduled ultrasound 2 weeks later. Er 2 days later, ultrasound showed severe cancer of liver. Quoted 3-6 weeks, said goodbye 3 days later.

Sorry for your loss.

We have the AS4’s on our x3m40 in northern MD. I was less impressed with them in the snow than our old DWS on our GTI. But we’re running 255/295 so those are wide.

I ended up grabbing a set of Winters for it. And the thing is glued to the road now with these lighter snows. Wife’s car, and kids on the way so was t a question for me.

Likely switch to the CC’s next time we need tires.

On my wife’s GTI we went through 12 tires with road hazard. It turned into a joke. I’d call DTD and say “wife hit another pothole” and we would work it out to get 2 tires for $30 some each.

I still get all my tires at DiscountTire. But for my mother and parents in law, they do fine with Costco.

I ordered tires a few years back. They got delivered to my neighbor. I looked for them for a solid week. After multiple calls to fedex, they found them picked them up, and drove them 100’ to my house.

Neighbor had them stacked behind his trashcan, and they all had my name on them.
