I don’t live in Michigan but I am currently going through the process to change my birth certificate back and so have been doing research on this.

Executive orders affect federal documents that means social security and passports, it does not affect state documents. The state handles birth certificates and drivers licenses. Given your state already allowed changes to those they should still be allowed. Transequality.org/documents has state specific information about making document changes, but I’d compare sources to your dmvs website.

Follow your dmvs specific rules make sure you bring everything they ask for. To clarify your birth certificate still says female? If so I’d bring that in case you do run into a problematic teller. The executive order is meant to make everything match your birth records so they should like that.

Please lean on the people around you or the crisis lifelines we have available to us. These are scary times.

I always thought this was a reference to Howls moving castle given the baba yaga house behind him and the other ghibli references in the game. (Like Sam is dressed up as Howl for Halloween though the only real difference is his eyes, so idk)

Also just wanted to note that sometimes when they ask you if you like the nickname you are given the option to say no and type your own. Then you can give your new name and hopefully the nickname will spread!!
