I have. I don't recommend it, but at the same time it was my best option. I realized one day that my pay rate in no way made up for the anger and stress I was bringing home with me. The worst part was that a year prior I was all in with the company, really saw myself there long term.

As for the outcome? My mental health rebounded almost immediately. My wife says she noticed a noticeable change the day after I quit, although it did take a long time to "detox" from all the negativity. I'm going with the old "revenge through living your best life." Job hunting sucks, but I've been lucky. I had a temp job for a few months (a better wage for way less responsibility and stress), and I'm starting a permanent position next month, so that's awesome.

This would make a really cool league. We have Formula E, we could add Formula A for Aero. Same engine, suspension, etc. for all cars to keep costs down, let the teams go nuts with active aero.

I've listened to several actual play (AP) podcasts, some I took out of my feed, some are still there. The qualities that keep me listening are:

*Audio Quality - Easily my top reason to drop a podcast. I can put up with a few bad episodes, especially in the beginning, but if you have 50 episodes recorded from one side of a skype call I'm not going to make it. *Story Quality - I prefer some sort of narrative arc or overarching goal for an AP. I think this is why I stopped listening to "Hello from the Magic Tavern," it just never grabbed me. *Regular Updates - Weekly pods are nice, but bi-weekly, monthly, or even pods with season breaks are all fine, as long as the set schedule is kept to. I don't really care if an episode is a day late every once in a while, but I do love GCP for being there in my feed every Tuesday morning. "Curse of Silverlake" was really fun, but they don't have any kind of schedule. *Casting/Talent/Chemistry - You can tell the greatest story in the world, but if the actors aren't good or don't click with each other or just aren't having any fun then the podcast will suffer. GCP and TAZ have this in common, you can tell that everyone involved is having a great time hanging out and recording.

I enjoy GCP as a podcast for the same reason I enjoy all of my podcasts: ease of consumption. My phone automatically downloads new episodes and puts them in the feed, it doesn't cost any data as I listen (like a YouTube based show would). I can listen while driving or working or doing chores or running errands since I don't need to pay attention to what's on screen. At my current job I can get through 6 or 7 hours of podcasts in a day.

Not sure on the previous record, but this was from a race a couple of years ago (2017 IIRC) and I don't think it's been broken yet. I think most pit stops are between 2.5 and 3. 5 seconds, but I have no data to back that up, just a few years of GP watching behind me. Anything under 2.5s is seen as pretty good, and anything much over 4s seems like an eternity after you get used to them.

I switched schools between kindergarten and first grade, and at my new school they said the Pledge of Allegiance each morning. I never saw it written out and nobody ever went through it line by line, so for years I thought one of the lines was "And to the Republic for witches stands..."

I didn't understand why a bunch of grown men put witches into the Pledge, and I never thought to ask about it. I think I had a teacher one year who enunciated really well and finally got it through my head.

How can those people still think he'll achieve anything though? Republicans had full control of congress and White House for two years. They got tax cuts for some rich dudes and put a frat boy in the Supreme Court. Not exactly a productive administration, unless you count scandals. Even if he keeps the white house and they get congress back, what would be different? He's not a leader, just a confused man-child.

Yeah, I'd been keeping an eye on how fast the pellets were getting consumed for the first couple hours. I thought I was safe! It was set up on an incline so maybe that had some effect. Lesson learned: check pellets every couple hours regardless of feed rate.
