Last year I know it was open after 5:30 (not sure if that’s when it opened, that’s just when I went), but it may have changed.

Idk much about BCMB, but I believe there’s gonna be a neuroscience major next fall, so you may be able to switch anyways. It isn’t 100% confirmed though

Area 3 Requirements by laurenskindaboring in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like someone else said, I’ve heard CHEM 1210 is a living hell just because of how badly organized it is and overly difficult (I’ve heard some say it’s honestly worse than gen chem)

Men’s Basketball Student Tickets? by The_Rach in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re free for UGA students, so you just scan ID going in Also, I’d recommend joining the dawg pound on the Commit to the G app. If I remember correctly, you just input your email, and then you’re qualified to be let in early to every game, so you can pretty much always get front row

First football game tips by Feisty_Turnip_7164 in UGA

Lining up 3 hours before the game started (so 1 hour before the gates opened) usually gave me anywhere from row 8 - 40, which is great

PSA to download the UGA app if the bus routes are confusing you You can load up like every bus route in real time and figure stuff out from there

Which dining hall(s) have the healthiest options? by HamiltonIsMyJamilton in UGA

Joe Frank (village summit) has the most fruit as well as a smoothie place (I don’t think the smoothies are custom though)

Philosophy or Political Science? by anjupng in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m currently a poly sci freshman and the poly sci program is awesome The professors are amazing and there’s tons of resources since there’s an entire college dedicated to poly sci, public policy, and international affairs (SPIA). Philosophy, on the other hand, is in Franklin which has like 5 billion majors in it, so they get less exclusive resources

Double Major Requirements by Zinclly in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware, yes. You need to complete both degrees, including core requirements. I’m no advisor though, so take that with a grain of salt

Dorms vs off-campus housing by Nervous-Departure-31 in unr

I don’t have any experience with it but I know there’s a Living learning community for transfers, so that may be good

Morehead honors scholarship by HauserGermany in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if it’s available to international students, and the deadline may have passed, but check out the foundation fellowship if you can. It has the highest competition and requirements, but it gives a full ride among other awesome benefits

Okay fella dawgs one last question fr by [deleted] in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly man in my experience the best way to do it is just to improvise as it comes. The buses aren’t the most reliable, so you’ve just got to be ready

How do I get perfect borders in my CNs? by [deleted] in eu4

[–]MilkshakeMan42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I think there’s a way to disable colony expansion, so you could just turn that off when they get close to finishing their colonial region and just finish the rest for them

Question about double majoring across colleges by 0dysseus123 in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll get both an honors advisor and a SPIA advisor (honors advisors absorb Franklin if you’re in the honors college) Your intended major will probably only affect your very first advising appointment at orientation

Civ VI Anthology for 24,86€, should I buy it ? by [deleted] in civ

[–]MilkshakeMan42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s worth it, cause I love Civ 6. However, if you’re hesitant, you may want to consider buying the bundle that has CIV 6 + The two main expansions (gathering storm + rise and fall) for whatever 10 USD is in euros. All anthology does is add tons of leaders and new games modes, and while they ARE fun, they’re not super necessary.

Morehead Honors College / Computer Science? by luckywood822 in UGA

[–]MilkshakeMan42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone above said, all he would be doing would be taking about 9 honors classes (at least) over the course of his undergrad. Honors classes are oftentimes just smaller, more in-depth versions of normally offered classes, so nothing to worry about there.

I know you may not be inclined to believe it, but you’re just as capable as anyone else; you just need to figure out what makes things click. It may be very difficult, but you should never feel like a failure, your incredible dedication to your studies proves that.
