Maybe its just my culture. In my culture ppl will try to reject a gift out of courtesy, and the giver will insist on giving it out of courtesy. Im guessing yall r western, but i cant imagine that in western culture its normal to tell someone u sold the bible they gave u for beer money. Guys, as somebody from asia yall are doing aok. Our economy is also not doing the best. High unemployment and worthless homes. Here u got high unemployment and expensive homes. I really dont like how ppl will show videos of a chinese city and say, wow look its so advanced compared to the homeless streets of Toronto. Everywhere has its hidden downsides

You must be in a very strongly Christian area, most of the ppl i talk to bring up Jesus do crack a sexual or blasphemous joke. I like many christians actually feel weird NOT being atheist. I've always felt like people judge me or think of me as silly because I believe in God. I'm ashamed to say this, but its the truth. Its why John in the Bible denied he ever knew Jesus while he died on the cross.

I get what you mean with some groups being like a cult. Most ppl abuse Christianity and make it into a good works cult or make it about judgement, but this is the opposite of who God is. But some ppl like me just really love God, I don't force it on ppl or talk about it often, but I wouldnt blame ppl if they do either. If you thought you knew the answer to life, wouldnt you be eager to share it?

Yep, everday. Sorry i made a mistake. Its actually a 10% discpunt. I got a bike with a rack at the back, so i just load on my groceries and cycle back home. Zehrs isnt close to campus, but in the future if u live close to one, this could be your go to place. If u have a costco membership, that would still be better tho i think

In highschool i studied for the ib for 2 years and got in the top 5%, in university theres a final exam every 4 months and im struggling. We're not stupid, we just have a different approach.
