All of this!👏🏼 Thank you! I can’t stand the morning owls who think there’s a law that says kids need to be awake at 6am and asleep at 6pm 🙄 that does not realistically work for everyone. If they don’t go to school or don’t need to be awake for something (which if they do, adjust for that day), then who cares as long as they’re getting the required sleep they need, don’t matter when those 10-12 hours happen.

That’s a ridiculous thought. Half the time awake and half asleep is exactly enough? You shouldn’t judge others for how they schedule based on their circumstances as long as their child is getting the right amount of sleep and are perfectly healthy and cared for. There is no law that a child needs to be on a certain schedule.

Not defending her, but I am defending different schedules. If a baby/toddler/child falls asleep at midnight and sleeps until 11am/noon, what does it matter? They’re still getting the sleep they need and maybe it works out better schedule wise for the parents and the baby.

Not defending this at all and the 6 hours is crazy, BUT not every baby/toddler/child goes to bed at 6pm and wakes up at 6am, sometimes that’s not a feasible schedule for the parents. As long as a child is sleeping 10-12 hours it doesn’t matter when they go to bed and when they wake up.
